So there I was playing an ambush, just goin solo for fun and profit. We're ahead by about 8 toward the end of the game and I spawn on someone uplink and am immediately mowed down by a Heavy/Logi combo who are parked right next to it mowing people down as they spawned. I died with a good view of what was happening so I decided to stay there and watch. With true efficiency he sat there and killed around 15 players that kept spawning in on that spot before the uplink ran out, which cost us the match.
I decided to try this myself in the next game, and found myself a nice secluded spawn pad, stood behind it with a shotgun and waited for people to appear. A few appeared and while they were still waiting for their system to catch up with their body I shot them in the back. I managed to get away with this about 5 or 6 times before I shot a Proto-heavy in the back by reflex and he turned around and cut me in half.
But despite the multiple kills I really didn't feel that good about it, it wasn't just getting the jump on someone, it was taking advantage of a spawn/control delay where they have a body but no brain essentially. I chatted a few people on this matter and they had a few different opinions that seemed to fall into 2 categories;
1: That isn't fun, I wouldn't do that and it ruins the game for others.
2: I'll do what it takes to win, if camping a spawn pad will help me and my team win I'll do it. I expect others will do the same as well and its something we have to compensate for.
So what do all of you think about it? Lets try to keep it at least a little bit civil :P |

If people are stupid enough to keep spawning at the same place then they deserve to be camped. |

People should be warning their team of camped spawns *shrugs*oh well~ |

Spawning killing is only slightly less boring than red lining.
Also, if you choose to spawn on a camped uplink/CRU/letter, you shouldn't be upset/surprised you died instantly. |
