Yup that was me and a buddy, after 5 or 6 terrible matches of dumb blueberries we decide to sit in the MCC and AFK. It is my game, I do what I want. Please find some way to get me out of the MCC CCP by making a good game, maybe if it was as much fun sitting and chatting as it was to play this game, you would have less AFK farming.
Defiance is coming, beta starts on the 19th. If that game ends up as good as we all think, then Dust is Dust. |

I AFK'd a game yesterday because I just wondered how much SP you actually got for it I was surprised at how much and especially when for salvage I got some officer AR's first time I had ever got that particular item. Seems backwards really I have played countless games where I finished in the top 3 and yet got nothing or rubbish salvage, I AFK one game and got some balac's ar's. |

If you have ever played me in a pub or a corp battle you will know that I don't really need to use them salvages. I have around 6 million SP and none of my weapons are past level 4. I don't need cool salvage and proto gear to take out friggin scrubs in a pub.
Wait till I get my kittening proto weapons and offizer weapons. It will give these pub scrubs to QQ some more. |

There's no reason not to AFK farm.
Pub match win/loss is meaningless. Most bluedots are scrubs anyway and do nothing other than die frequently and make little impact on the match. I get tired of carrying teams, only to be rewarded with a little more SP than I'd make from sitting in the MCC doing absolutely nothing.
Grenade kill me in MCC? I don't care. I still keep the screen active and would just spawn in another free fit. Stats don't track in skirmish so why would I care anyway? Even if they did, doesn't matter.
And yes, I would rather have someone AFK during a match if the best they can do is 0-15, or 1-12, or 0-16, or 2-19, or some of these other casual scores. Why? Feeding the enemy team kills only fuels their points, which fuels their free orbital strikes (i.e. not actually connected to any EVE ship), which in turn contributes to pointlessness.
Complain at players all you like, but it makes no difference, as the fault isn't with the players doing it, the fault is with CCP for allowing it - and technically speaking, if they want the game to be truly sandbox, they can't really correct that.

It does sort of detract from the perceive obvious way off playing. But I will try this. I will sit in the MMC or a Rock near the redline and see how much SP I get. (hopefully none!) and if it gives me really rare salvage for doing it too, I will report back. Can't be right....

I am sick of seeing these complaints.
If you want this fixed go to CCP and tell them to switch SP rewards to 5 SP per WP and 1 SP per second....you will so almost noone AFKing because at lost you would get 1500-2000 SP for a super long game. But if you play well you can get more than 15000 SP in a game. If you arent willing to suggest this to CCP then stop complaining and just play the game.
Guess what if you kill me when I am AFK and just happen to get idle kicked out then I will just join another game and do it all over you wont be in every game I AFK in. |

I blame (m)Anus Peak. That has become, by far, the worst map in the game to me matched up with random blueberries.
You start off the match with have of your team running for the mountains to get their uber premium sniping spots so they can get a staggering score of 4/2 for the match.
You spend the next 5 minutes hearing ping ping ping to the tune of "The hills are alive with the sound of kitteny snipers"
After that comes the redline which, guess what, brings out more window licking snipers.
To give you a sense of how bad some blutards actually are:
I AFK'd a match with 1 suicide (testing theory) to go 0/1 with 0 WP and there were TWO people worse than me.
One with 0/8 and other 0/12 with a whopping 0 WP combined while 'trying' to do something in the game. |

ppl wanna AFK farm, let em, who cares honestly. They arent getting any better by sitting there doing nothing, skirmish stats broken anyway, and I would say the majority who do it are those who have been on this game for close to a year.. with the same 5 maps.
I've done it a couple times.. usually when its my turn to feed the baby and I havent capped yet, and typically still get back to the controls before the match is over and go slap around a few ppl before it ends.
I do agree you should not get salvage if you arent helping your team.. 0 WP gives you 0 chance for salvage.
I havent seen more than 2 ppl on any side at any given time doing this... and in skirmish its an absolute rarity that 2 people would make a difference in the outcome |

Since the new build is a minimum of a month away, likely more, get used to it. This won't get better, the more people start doing it, the more people will get frustrated and start leaving, or start AFK farming as well. ****, I've considered AFK farming as well |
