You miss the point....Fused Locus Grenades > Locus Grenades. Doesn't matter where you are. Besides, the situation you describe would happen to anyone throwing a grenade; fused, flux, or otherwise.

Our best slayers favor AR and we have a couple very good tankers so a map like Manus would have played into our strengths much more. We still would have guys using fused grenades but I doubt any of our guys are dumb enough to throw grenades over using their Balac's in open terrain like the areas between the objectives on Manus.

It's the little things like this that humble me and annie. thank you. /bow And king Kobrah, me and annie and the stb members did fight hard, but lots of proto weapons and gear and team work make it hard to be an effective shotgunner. pfbh know thier stuff and we did all right for shotty wielders but only so much you can do against people that know how to fight back well :P To sum up the battle,It was like fighting a pack of flipping rabid honey badgers. you know you have to try to put them down but man its hard and the suckers fight back with blinding rage. seems like you were constantly forced to be on the attack all game which i'm sure didn't help you much either, especially with guys on the roof constantly raining down fire on you.

I've had success throwing flux nades over long distances, but that's about it. obviously you'd have to be a ****** to use fused nades in an open area, i was just pointing out situations where they'd be mostly useless.

STB excels and capturing and defending points. well im just making some observations cuz Z saying the only reason it wasnt a redline was because of 2 shotguns out of 7 infantry and i just made the point that u all could of easily ran shotguns it wasnt all shotties vs us it was 4 with an hmg and laser and mikegunnz was the only AR Z also said himself it doesnt take much skill to use a shotgun in a cqc map u dont need the sharpshooter skills i kno Z dont like STB too much but ya cant say it would of been a redline if 2 ppl werent there kinda discrediting the skill of their other good players.

Yeah you can clearly see in the video me and annie eating a fused to the face on several ocasions and we continue running forward at our targets. fused are fun and great determent but not fully as deadly as a good m1.

I got a few direct hits and it barely did any damage. that's unfortunate, considering how many times you threw grenades in the video. my original observation still stands, that map is prime for shotguns and fused locus grenades, it's not like that map totally favored STB. they fought hard and it was still a close game when it was all said and done.

This is the closest one I have played, simply because of the shotty. Look at everyones score on STB, really the shotguns were the only ones getting kills. Night ran shotgun, I decided not to because I have never used a balac and wanted to use it for the battle all week. Probably not the best choice, but it was fun. My video shows which STB were effective in the match, you only see shotguns. The rest of the players in the match were hardly noticeable.

Yeah you can clearly see in the video me and annie eating a fused to the face on several ocasions and we continue running forward at our targets. fused are fun and great determent but not fully as deadly as a good m1. yeah, you don't get a lot of choice when you have a shotgun, gotta keep pushing in. dropping back will just get you grenaded around a corner or eventually shot in the back. against scout shotgunners i'll take fused nades all day long, but against assault with heavy shields, they're not nearly as effective. i much prefer flux nades over fused nades against a shield heavy assault shotgun.

I never said I disliked STB, I just could careless about internetz respect, I just tell it how I see it. I'll give credit to the shotty users for their effort in the match.

I saw more death in that match than I see in an average of 20 matches, and that is saying something. No matter what is said about the weapons, grenades or the people playing in the match, it boils down to we tried hard and yet lost. You guys have had my respect from day 1 so I did not go in underestimating anyone on the opposing side. If I ever get the chance to match up against you gents again know that ill be bringing the mother ****ing thunder again. Good game gents well deserved win, keep up the good work!
