Interesting/funny scrambler pistol kills Utility/function Balence Scrambler pistol based fittings Fanfare Haters You name it. Interesting/funny kill: I was in a scout suit fit with two scramblers, one breach one assault. The enemy team was being red lined and I was off on my own scouting one of the flanking routs. A lone enemy apears in the distance, an assault with an AR. The distance between us is level ground. He spots me quickly and fires off a couple of short bursts, which I easily dodge, then go back to standing still in the open distance between us. This lone assault pauses for a moment (in which time I imagine his head tilting slightly to one side in bewilderment). He starts to rush me. He wants to get in close now. I hold my ground. 65m, 50m he is zig-zagging but very little. 35m, I i switch to my breach and start to aim. 30m, 25m, I fire, a single round, perfect head shot, and that was the story of him. His lifeless corps fell to an imagined dull thud. And that was the most satisfying moment I've ever had in this game.

I prefer one-shotting heavies with a Breach round to the cranium.

Once the Flaylock is approved for battlefield use I'm throwing away that Amarr garbage. Besides, everyone already shoots me when they see me!

I had a scrambler pistol as the only weapon on my logi, and still killed the **** out of everything. One time, my only death using that fit in a battle was because I ran out of ammo and nanohives.

Most likely the blast is stopped halfway to your face by your helmet, the scramble has effect regardless of you wearing a helmet or not.

Stupidly I follow him hoping for that single kill before I die. I waste all of my AR ammo and resort to the scrambler pistol. Suddenly two guys spawn on the uplink. So im facing 3. I kill the weakened guy, then score a stupidly lucky critical on the other before bolting arond behind a wall. Sure as **** that redberry comes after me and dies too. now im 3-1 and ended up compromising their drop uplink for some minutes after.

Why keep one of the most enjoyable parts of the game a secret to the masses? I'm actively telling people I meet about how good the scrambler pistol is.

Yes, heavies take two head shots with the breach. Not hard if they are facing the other direction. I usually only use the pistol with a stealth attack on a non-moving target like snipers or turret gunners.

Sontie VENGEANCE FOR HIRE 150	Posted - 2013.03.14 16:48:00 - [33] - Quote Every level of the pistol skill gives you an extra bullet. With weaponry 5, you're doing ~360 damage per bullet to the head. Heavy's have big, dumb, slow heads. When they go full auto, duck behind cover, iron sight to the level of their head, and set out of cover shooting. There is no recoil. empty your entire clip, all you need is 2-3 head shots. Against assaults I try to get 1 head shot and finish them off to the body if they are not already dead. Against scouts, I use my MD.
