Hey there, many members wish to see sandbox outside of combat gameplay, which is wonderful.
However that's a big implementation, CCP would have to work around the Programming, Economics, cause and effects, and forecast the scenarios. For a Free to Play game, that sounds like a lot of work.
So what if the skill books required to access hypothetical non combat related sandbox toys (like mining equipment, exploratory mission license, market and trade, etc.) cost Aurum so the non combat work is paid off via people using the non combat sandbox. Not to mention the fact that things seem to get put into production faster if it costs Aurum (Notice all those Aurum dropsuits they're pooping out?) What are the community's thoughts on Aurum Skillbooks? |

If you want to mine, manufacture, and salvage play Eve.
If you want to shoot, play fast, action action ra ra! then play Dust.
But you see, you shouldn't be able to do everything in Dust. It defeats the purpose of Eve. So to balance Dust and keep it from taking over areas of Eve that may be attractive, I see that it would be rather fitting to have Dust users use Aurum to access it.
Eve has a playing fee and detracting from it is actually detracting from Money. It's all from business point of view, and a poor persons, I have no Aurum. But the skills would sure make me get some Aurum. |

There are other ways to make Aurum...*Wink!* It's not like we have to purchase the add on in the PS store.. |
