Ive noticed that u have indicatorsfor different types of aircraft that have yet to be added and i wanted to suggest a gamemode like the one found on StarWars Battlefront II in the gamemode their are two carriers locked in a stationary space battle over a planet players spawn in a hanger bay where standard militia versions of ships spawn thought their are certain places in which players can spawn their own special versions. The game is won by scoring enough points by destroying enemies and systems on the enemy carrier or destroying the carrier it-self. Players can land in the enemy carrier and do do damage to systems directly. how many points are earned and how difficult it is to destroy the system is based on how important the system is with ones such as engine controls at lowest since they are unneeded in the stationary battle and can be repaired later while systems like the sheild generator are at the highest with lots of health, auto-repairing, and a few defense turrents since when this system is brought down the sheilds on the ship go down. The sheild generator is one of the only systems that can be repaired after being destroyed which will will instantly bring the sheilds back up to hlaf but they cant go past half this comes at a risk though since in its unstable state if the sheilds a brought down or the system is destroyed again it will repture killing all players in the room and damaging the ship. The carrier already has turrents that automatically fire on the enemy carrier but players can also man turrets and either fire on players or assist in the attack on the carrier. Their a 2-4 heavy and 6 or so light turrets avaliable to the player and the type of turret is randomly decided on the start of the match. As u may have guest the turrets also have a system, bringing it down will cause all the automatic turrents to shut down, player turrets will be temporarily disabled, and when the player turrets come back online they no longer have a hud since its completely switched to manual; this system is the only one that can be brought back online without any disablilities and once brought back enemies will no longer receive points for destroying it just the strategic value. The planet in the back ground isnt just for show players can spawn on the surface or use a pod availible on the ship to get their. on the planet their are 1-3 control points that can be captured which will activate the planets orbital defense net which will then begin fireing a disruptor cannon at the enemy carrier (note: players cant call down vehicles on the planet) once down their though their is no way back up other than dieing so teams will have to strategically split up one part capturing the planet the other fighting in space when the game ends their will be a cutscene with the victorious carrier flying towards the screen while the other one hurdels down toward the planet in a flamming mass and explodes players on the victorious team will recieve a transmission from their captain congradulating them on their victory while the losing team recieves a frantic transmisson from the crew of the doomed vessel "MADAY MADAY THIS IS (insert name of ship here) WERE GOING WERE GOING.....(scilent static and the muffled explosion of the destroyed vessel)". when one team loses their is a 10sec count down before the cutscene starts in which players have to get to safety from the explosion of the carrier by making it to the other carrier or making it to a fortified building(because hunks of the destroyed ship will bombard the area) though who make it to saftey will get a few bonus points and as for players on board the ship those smart enough to use the escape pods on board will not only receive the points but a hidden bronze trophy most likely named "By the skin of the teeth" or "The great escape" u decide either way i thought this would be a fun game mode to have and it would require a bit more strategy for the team to win let me know what u think and please post what u think should be added or change to the rules of the game mode and we'll hope for the best thanks for reading :P |

Never have I seen such a literal wall of text. If you want anyone to read your post you need to break it up into Paragraphs. That means breaking this into smaller chunks. For instance GÇ£The game is won...GÇ¥ could be the start of a new Paragraph. GÇ£As u may have guest...GÇ¥ could be the start of another Paragraph. That is as far as I am going. I can work out bad spelling, and forgive some grammar problems, but not breaking up a wall of text like this is a slap in the face of your reader. Writing a wall of text like this is a waist of your time because no one will read it.
You can do better than this. I am certain you can.
Edit: If you edit your post and add paragraphs, and I see that you have done so, then I will comment on your idea. |

Please don't let anyone talk to you like this, this kid is a complete tool and sounds like he has anger issues the fact that he is bullying you on here just shows how little of a man he is. While it was to much for me to read it wasn't because grammar or paragraphs I will come back and give it a read another time though. I got too the first two paragraphs and what I understand is you're suggesting we should have to giant ships fighting each other. We would shoot at or infiltrate the others ship? I will give a better reply when I read into it ^_^ |

Well you must admit it was good advice to space it out and why not fix a few grammar mistakes while I'm doing so? |

I like the battlefront series, and this mode was my favorite, but I don't feel like it fits in DUST 514, the point of this game was to take the planets. I fail to see how space battle would do so. Also, who is paying for the ships we use? even militia ones cost money. |

The planet was a mining planet that was abandoned because they couldnt find anything but two factions later on discover this planet has an abundance of a rare mineral that couldnt be detected, mined, or molded because technology wasnt as advanced at that time but now they can and as u know recources are everything in war especially rare minerals such as this one.
So both factions send out carriers to claim the planet and wipe out any hostile force that may be there before sending in the mining crew but the two carriers encounter each other above the planet and so the battle begins.
The reason for cannons on the planet is because at that time mining planets were encountering lots of pirate attacks so they built them to defend against the attacks. The cannons were built sturdy and easily reapairable in order to endure the pirate bombing runs and the controls were heavily encrypted inorder to prevent pirates from taking it over thats why the control points need to be hacked.
Though hacking technology is much more adavanced its so heavily encryted it would takes a while to hack and due to age abnormalities have formed in the coding making it take even longer for the systems on the drop-suits to decifer.
Btw, after seeing ur comment i thought about it and i just came up with a slight bit of the story and i just added random details to it as i went along so sorry if it isnt that good >.< |
