Redberries always seem to be more organized than blueberries. |

Beta
Definition: A Beta Test is a period in the development of hardware, software or website where it is tested by large groups of people who would be typical users. Sometimes there is an "open beta" where anyone is welcome to join. Sometimes it is a "closed beta" where you can only join by invitation. Either way, participants use the product normally and often report back on any problems they have (bugs) or with feedback on basic usability and navigation. Beta testing follows a period called an alpha test. Typically, you can expect that by the beta test, the product will be usable, although it may have fewer features available.
Oh, and matchmaking is definitely borked right now, but see above. And below, apparently |

Had a fun match yesterday. Our side had 1 squad, our squad. The enemy team had all full squads of top 50 corps. I think there was a squad of sver, unreal, imps, and pro. |

You put significantly too much weight on the word "fixed" which probably was never even officially used. It's an ongoing thing to be certain. I often wonder if maybe matchmaking is working as best it can, and there simply aren't enough good players in the same region playing in squads at the same time (AKA, player base is still too small), or if it's actually matchmaking going....hmmm...
Ok David, come over and face Goliath. Now David, I need you to put on this straight jacket and blindfold. Goliath, to make this fair, you best take this chainsaw, and a sawed off shotgun just in case.
Now you two have fun, ya hear?

Right now we are all forced into the same space, figuratively and literally. Once high, low, and null sec space are introduced the newberry will most likely not see a Imperfect or PFBHz for a while. There will be more wiggle room for all of us. The balance seems messed up because we are all in a big bowl being tossed around instead of a plate where we can flow to the point of less resistance. |
