The anti sniper module would be a passive module that only worked on sniper rounds. Once equipped the module would give a 20% decrease per level in damage from a sniper rifle with a 7 second recharge. I usually don't have too much of a problem but every once in a while it would be nice to have a back up. Maybe have an extra skill that reduces the recharge time. |

Do this and it might be a reasonable suggestion, otherwise it's just a nerf request.
I understand that this is not EVE but we are in the same universe. In EVE there is a skill called Tactical Shield Manipulation and it Reduces the chance of damage penetrating the shield when it falls below 25% by 5% per skill level, with a 0% chance at level 5. I don' t want a module that gives you total protection all the time just a one shot protection. A good sniper is going to kill you anyways in one more shot. The EVE skill is only a skill with no modules but i would like to see module used so it would use a slot for people who are afraid of snipers. It could be called the High Velocity Shield Hardener and would only work on super high speed rounds and only if the shields were up on a dropsuit. I am not looking for immunity from fire just a counter to one shot officer weapons. I like the power of the SR and I like one shot kills but it is also fun to have things that directly counter other things. We need as many skills and modules as we can get so different play styles can exist. I have been playing from the beginning and we are stagnant. Again, this is not for full protection from snipers or from any other damage only one shot shield hardening. |

It would work almost the same way. I will assume you are good sniper, yes I would respawn in 10 seconds because no module can protect you from a good sniper. Just like wearing a proto suit doesn't mean you won't die to militia gear. |

I agree, to make it fair and balanced the shields would have to be reduced to zero. I wouldn't waste my time with that module because snipers are not my problem, my problem is that I am a bad shot. I do think that the skill without the module would be over powered. Balance is the name of the game. |
