I thought that they dont have jets in Dust 514 yet? Also, will the MCC have to be bought by the corporation in a corp battle? |

Yeah in the long run of things the MCC will have to be flown from one solar system to another in order to participate in the battles. the pilot dropsuit allows a corp member with the granted role to do so. Same as with the command suit. eventually one person takes on the role of team commander and can deploy assets on the battlefield like when extra installations are shot in in ambush OMS |

The best theory crafting so far suggests the following...
Sidearm only Likely no Grenades No to 1 Equipment Special 'Vehicle Link' Slot - Allows the pilot to equip a module that enhances any vehicle he operates. 1-2 Slots Low 1-2 Slots Mids Scout Like HP and Mobility Is not as stealthy as a scout. |

Drop ship pilots if they survive the bail out will call in another vehicle, they need something to ward off a pesky scout for 15-30 seconds.
Also as it stands now you cannot make an unarmed fit. |

Command Suits, probably those who capped out squad leadership will be able to spring board onto those controls easily as most of the crusader's skills are likely going to be required.
There should be a new category called 'leadership' popping up next patch if they included the crusader with it. |

But it will be rather from 800 mil to 1 200 mil isk. Why? This is price for freighters in Eve. MCC take role of the freighters for corp with assets and clone reserve. That is also the max size of ship that can jump via normal gate.
If price will be around 120 mil ISK (eg. price of standard BattleShip) it will be not much and easy to get, but BS are one person (capsular) maned and not have enough cargo or clone vats inside ...
So price for freighter will be more at place.

There will never be a gallente mass driver.
There may be a gallente weapon that shoots explosives but it wont be called a mass driver. |

Iron Wolf Saber wrote:Command Suit is for MCC control only and likely has worse stats than the pilot for combat, but he's not even supposed to be on the field. There was talk of a Command suit before the Crusader suit was announced, and the descriptions of it were that it would be a suit that gives passive buffs to nearby teammates. When the Crusader suit was confirmed, it was explained that this was the suit formerly referred to as the Command suit. meaning that there is no Command suit any more. MCC or Warbarge operations won't require Dropsuits. |

A freighter is a spaceship, a MCC is not, it's only role is to support troops on the ground, and seeing how often they are deployed and lost they can't be too expensive. and you're thinking of warbarges which transport the MCC's and the clones and assemble's all of there kit. |

Controlling the MCC requires the suit which apparently has special hookups to help the merc act like a pod pilot of the ship. |

Gallente (I think)will be getting a heavy plasma gun (because gunpowder weapons are just barbaric), and the Caldari already have Swarm Launchers for their explodey needs. |

Actually it's been confirmed that the Plasma Cannon is a LIGHT weapon, not a Heavy.
And he was asking about SUITS, not WEAPONS.
On which note, the devs have explained that there are three "frame sizes" and that each faction will get at least one suit in each size.
So far, we have one "small frame" suit - the Gallente Scout, two "medium frame" suits - Caldari Assault and Minmatar Logi, and the Amarr Heavy is the only "large frame" suit so far. Which means we're getting AT LEAST 2 new suits for each faction - maybe more. |
