ok i have been a hard core supporter of dust since the start ... Evin before it came out .... im starting to lose faith in you cuz you seem to be focusing on all the wrong stuff. you MUST lock tanks every tank driver in the game will agree with me and you are totally ignoring the subject. there is NO way that someone should call in a HAV just to have some blue dot jump in and run off with you million ISK HAV there is no resion at all that the driver seat cant be locked to the person that called it in. this issue has been brought up many many times. you can not tell me that this cant be fixed and fairly easily all you have to do is want to do it. you avoid the subject at all cost. and its really disappointing that you dont address such a costly problem.
another solution that has also been brought to you is that if you dont have the required skills to fit that vehicle then you cant get into the driver seat
every tank driver in this game is getting pissed off about this. i call on you to at least reply to this and hopefully fix it.
thank you CCP for you're time and hopefully very soon i can thank you for fixing it and im sure everyone else will thank you too |

I can understand when some dude gets his LAV stolen, I ditch those all the time, but why would you ever get out of your tank? |

What about the times a sneaky blue berry jacks your HAV as it's dropped in. Or you accidentally jump out. I agree with the OP. It's a very simple thing to implement, and would greatly reduce stress. |

All you tankers stop shooting at me when I steal your tank, I'm on your team and don't know how to use it anyway but it's fun to drive for the 30 seconds before someone destroys me in it |

Ahh excuse my ignorance, but none the less some sort of system needs to be implemented. your force kick seems like a good idea. that way squad members could take over if need be, but you could get the blue berries out. |

The game SHOULD lock vehicles for a couple of seconds after deployment before anyone but the owner can enter it.
That's how it usually works, and if it didn't, then that needs to be listed as a bug.
When working as intended though, you have a window before anyone else can enter, and that's all you should have. |

its based on the time u sent the request in for the vehicle so if your last ur vehicle might not be locked anymore on spawn and thus stolen, happens all the time on my LAV's and mine are 150k+isk. needless to say i either wait or make sure mines first. |

or you could just wait till no one is around to spawn your tank..
or
you could just keep tanks for corp battles, where you won't have to worry about being trolled by some random you smashed relentlessly the previous match!
oh wait what? you didnt realise the guys you're wailing on with your death machine, might be on your team the next round and just be itching to cost you isk?
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA..*wipes tears from eye* :)
also watch out for members of your team that are in a corp. with members on the other side of the match... that proto tank might not be such a great idea if people can co-ordinate from both sides of the map to take you out :) |

was just in a game where right after i called in a tank, i got hit with an OB. by the time i respawn, someone is driving away with my tank and promptly gets it destroyed. i waited until the last few minutes of the match to keep that from happening. there needs to be a way to lock tanks and dropships. |

There is a simple solution that they could implement.
When you are in close proximity to your vehicle, it won't decay and self-destruct. Just make it so that nobody else can enter the driver's seat while you are in this area. |
