I have a suggestion for a exploration game type. It could sort of be like Dayz, If everyone has heard of it.
There could be 2 or 3 "Wild Planets" that can't be captured or colonized dues to whatever reason and the planets can have districts (with would just be the allowed range the players could explore on the planet.) And like in Dayz it can be open. Mercs can select a "Wild Planet" and a district and deploy for training, grinding, fun, and even some kind of salvage or loot. But But give them a limit on clones making their time limited based on how long they say alive. That would make having a good logi and playing as a squad vital. Also other squads can join in (there would be a limit on how many so not to crowd an area depending on the size. I say for a decent exploration size map 3-4 Is enough.) and they can either be FRIENDLY or HOSTILE, to add more danger and difficulty aside from the inhabitants of the planet, be they wild animals, monsters, or armed and angry lost descendants of humans.
When a squad enters a district a notification will pop up in the area when squad orders and orbitals do and say something like "squad has joined" or "squad has left" In then pluralist (up d-pad) can showed the squads and who's in them, not NOT where they are in the district. So you have an unknown squad beware in case they're hostile. This can be indicated by coloring player killers name (above head) and adding the kill mail thing in the upper right corner example "DethPuke (Killswitch) GodOfLove"
Since squad join in at different locations, cooperating squads with have to meet up by looking at the map and finding some where to meet up.
And as for respawning after death. There can be a point system and you gain squad points doing stuff like killing npcs, finding selvage, repairing squandmates, reviving downed squadmates, giving ammo from nanohives. , and killing others. Once the squad lead gets enough points he can call in off map support being either a small supply depot,.a increase to to the number of available clones, a small CRU, and If there is a EVE player or a npc ship in orbit maybe a small precision orbital strike.
Once done you can select leave planet (located where "leave battle" is normally at) and there can be some sort of exit animation and the end of match screen will come up showing the so, isk, and salvage earned. Also all the Isk and sp you make in game should be adding directly to you so If you get disconnected you don't lose everything
I can already see people hunting down others and taking loot and player killing. XD.
Vehicle should be able to be called as well. Feel for to add and make suggestions. |
