Alot of us tank drivers have had to put up with pathetically useless blue dots getting in our tank and doing everythign in their power NOT to be useful. ive heard wispers that there are ways to TK these gunners when your rolling around and was wondering if anyone would share for the benifit of all us tankers in dust. |

Not that I care either way, but assuming you're on a team full of equally useless blueberries, what difference does it make if someone jumps in an empty seat in your tank and shoots things? Is your point that you want to discourage randoms from learning to be useful? Or are they actually detracting from your ability to shoot things with your railgun? |

In general they hinder me, especially when im trying to be sneaky and take a forward position and do a hit and run. missles flying out from behind a hill and the sound of gunfire tends to attract unwanted attention.
And ide like to think that if a tank driver takes the time to find a way to kill his own gunner that the person who got killed would reflect on what they did to **** of a driver bad enough that they would find a way to kill them off while inside the tank.
then again i may be giving blueberrys too much credit.
Sadly when i have 2 folks sitting in my tank and a third chasing it trying to get into it while its full... ide like to think that even at distractions or meatshields they would be more productive to the team outside my tank and away from me |

I TK blue dot gunners as much as I can. If you ram into an LAV, there's an explosion. The blue dot gunners can't be damaged by bullets and other explosives, like swarms, but the LAV explosion is big enough to kill them. If you want to kill the front gunner, make sure you ram into a LAV with the front right corner of your tank. The top gunner is a bit harder to kill. You have to back into a LAV going full speed.
It's also a good way to kill stupid blue dot LAV drivers. Nine out of times the enemy will blow up the blue dot LAV, and they'll frequently kill blue dots along with it. You're helping your team and yourself by denying the enemy of the free warpoints. Less orbitals on your tank is always a good thing.
By killing the LAV you're also saving yourself from future headache (them crashing into you, parking in dumb places, and by just being a blue dot in general.) |

lol, they are everywhere ^.^
Plus, it's kind of fun hunting down a blue (and sometimes red) LAV for a multi-kill.
edit: tankers are soooooooo screwed when friendly fire is turned on ;( lol |

Friendly fire will only be turned on for low to null sec matches. Currently, all matches are in high sec(newbie land). Friendly fire will never be turned on in high sec. And when low sec is implemented... well.. there will be much higher consequences if you get known as a TK. Yes it will happen, but it won't happen for long as you get banned from the corp you are in and any alliances that your corp has.
You will become an outlaw and some people will try to get bad security status for lawls and just to get their name out there. But there will be a system in place to allows the players themselves to handle these outlaws. Trust in CCP. |

What about the guy who calls in a tank with a longrange, turret railgun for example and has a railgun turret on the front but gets mad at the guy in the turret because he`s getting more kills than the driver so driver decides reversing everywhere is the answer.
Had it happen to me today guy called in hav asked people to jump in turrets I jump in the front railgun and start getting kills he asks me to leave as I am killstealing he starts getting angry lol then reverses away does an extremly slow 3point turn and reverses at the enemy just to pad his kills if you had your way you would have people tk'ing gunners to protect their kdr. How pleased would you be losing an expensive fitting because someone doesn't want gunners incase they steal kills what was I ment to do any way shoot to wound? |

People actually complain about kill stealing? They get 35 WP for vehicle kill assist. Personally, I wouldn't want to play with someone like that and would not ride in his tank. |
