The problem comes from the fact that the merc packs i and many others bought CLEARLY STATED that all items and AURUM would be refunded upon COMMERCIAL RELEASE.
They still haven't been straight or clear with us about that. They say no more reset but they wont definitely state this is commercial release. Or rather you get conflicting reports from the staff.
They say the consider the move to TQ and Open Beta as "commercial release" but that was after the fact and not before therefore players who expected an AURUM reset are completely left in the dark.
Rather than be direct all they do is remove the language from the merc packs.
Why because legally we are paying for a product, if we lose items not because of user error but due to game error that entitles us to refund and creates liability issues.
Its not something we've put on blast but facts are facts and this whole issue is murky at best granted its separate from the SP reset question it still confounds the issue. |

SMH still doesnt get it. Not complaining about the money i put in im happy to support CCP in their efforts.
What im not happy about is confusion on this being or not being commercial release.
Saying its not version 1.0 and offering that as proof is different from CCP saying this is not commercial release.
Why haven't they said that? Because PR or marketing effed up and the merc packs clearly stated all items would be refunded upon commercial release.
If CCP wants to hide behind this is a Beta-Work in Progress then they need to definitiely answer us that will refund all AURUM purchases on Commercial release. The reason why they cant do that is they realize thats mean likely giving away SP boosters to players with inflated SPs that can boost their SP furhter since they say they wont reset SP.
Thats the pickle they are in if they reset AURUM they have to Reset SP to keep it fair.
And there in lies the rub either this game is commercial release which means no more AURUM resets or it isnt and that means AURUM refunds for anyone who bought a merc pack prior to them changing the language.
Since this is a point of sale for goods and not just digital content they cant simply use EULA contract BS to circumvent that issue and thats the problem they have and why we are still in the dark.
Im not one to normally make waves and I usually go with the flow but this was and is still being handled very poorly. |

They can change the terms of usage all they want they cant change the terms of a purchase agreement which is what the merc pack was.
They can change the language it only applies to future sales.
And there isnt confusion on the SP reset the SP reset isnt in dispute. Learn to read what i said.
They also changed the language on merc packs a week or two after open beta not before so we're talking a 2 months at most.
Doesnt change it for everyone who bought merc packs that didnt include the closed beta access.
You can defend CCP until you are blue in the face doesn't change the fact that the whole thing was messy and ill handled.
And show me where they say this is DEFINITELY COMMERCIAL RELEASE more than that one post where they say we consider Open Beta as commercial release and see if they comment on it after we ask does that mean we will get our Aurum refunded. Ill wait. They clamored up real fast because CCP defintion of commercial release is probably very different from Marketing departments definition of commercial release and it has FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS SINCE THE MERC PACKS SAID ALL ITEMS ARE REFUNDED UPON COMMERCIAL RELEASE. They can change the language and that will be applicable to all purchasers after the language change its DOESNT APPLY TO ME OR OTHERS who bought MP BEFORE CHANGE

Also this ISNT a purchase with just CCP, its also a purchase agreement with SONY, keep that in mind too please.
Im just waiting now for the thread lock and admonishment for spreading rumors despite the entire sequence of events ive stated are accurate. |

I DONT NEED TO CONTACT SUPPORT BECAUSE I HAVE NO INTENTION OF SEEKING REFUND. Learn to READ your sycophantic comments not withstanding, i find it amusing you can't tell that what i said has nothing with my displeasure over not getting AURUM items refunded but rather the manner in which the whole situation was/is handled and the continued lack of communication. But you can go ahead and defend that aspect all you like we see you for what you are, a shill, a prop, and fanboi that just wont quit.
