Nah, that's the original Caldari Assault Suit from the Eve Online: A Future Vision trailer. Check it out on Youtube. It'll make you absolute hate where everything has gone since the original conception. |

That'd be a terrible idea. In fact, it was so terrible an idea that they're making Destroyers and Battlecruisers in Eve Online into Racial Destroyers and Racial Battlecruisers because it takes away from specialization, something we desperately need in Dust 514. |

Or they do like they will in EVE now that they are changing "Battlecruisers" into the racial ones, if you have Battlcruiser 5 you will after the switch have Amarr Battlecruiser 5, Gallente Battlecruiser 5 and so on. /c Will there be a way for players to choose WHICH battlecruiser type they're trained in?
The general idea is that if you could fly it before, you can fly it after - provided you had the skill to do so before the change(s).
If you have Battlecruisers 1 but not Caldari Cruiser 3/4 and Caldari Frigate 3/4(can't remember which anymore) you can't fly the Caldari Battlecruiser. You have to have the prerequisite skills first. You can fly any other battlecruiser you have the skills for, just not the ones you don't. At current I have all skills to level 5 so it doesn't apply to me, I can fly everything - but someone who didn't train those skills up before hand won't be able to use it despite having Caldari Battlecruiser 1 because they didn't have the necessary skills to get THAT skill to begin with. |
