Semi-auto grenade launchers are in most of the 007 games. The Demo Man in TF2 has one as well.

While the Heavy in TF2 only has 200 bullets, ammo replenishment in that game is much easier and each counted round actually acts like a shotgun round, firing five or six actual bullets (gives the illusion of an obscene rate of fire while keeping ammo count reasonable).

There are also plenty of shooters where some weapons have straight up unlimited ammo. Starwars Battlefront comes to mind.

The HMG in Clone Commando had six hundred rounds(?), but once again the ammo replenishment in that game was much easier.

Many games also have a much lower TTK than DUST does, so you have to take that into account as well.

RE's were broken because they were being used as grenades instead of demo charges, now they are demo charges. mass drivers and hmg's, while they might get a type of nerf due to overuse, are working as intended if you pay attention to the different builds since e3. Unlike other games where you can get kicked because of using a GL, dust praises players for being smart. a team of mass drivers (barring idiot teams) will not win against a team with an array of weps.

Kicking players because you don't like their wep is not a sign of a broken wep, its the sign of immature gamers an a ****** community. CCP builds their games with the mindset that they give you tools and let you have fun with em. there's no noob tube.
