Nanohives work well, and I couldn't think of playing logistics with out one. My major gripe is that as far as I can tell, there is no way to visually distinguish the difference between an ammo nanohive from a ammo/armour NH or an armour nanohive. I spent enought SP into Circuitry and Nanocircuitry (levels 3 and 4 respectively) to get the first non AUR nanohive ammo/armour repper and noticed that my team mates treated the same nanohive as they would a militia grade. My suggestion is either colour code the bubbles, and/or have some pop up notification for armour repair like there is for ammo resupply.
Drop uplinks also work well imo if you're out of squad. As is stands right now, if you drop an uplink, and you are in a squad, only your squad mates will see that uplink and be able to spawn to it. Same goes for if you are out of squad you will not see a drop uplink from a person who is in a squad. I understand the tactical benefits of dropping uplinks just for your squad(if you're playing with corp members or friends you might not want stupid people wasting the number of spawns per uplink), but it doesn't benefit the rest of your team at all. I want to win the match, not just strategically plant my Drop uplinks's so my corp members can kill ***** .. which is still fun as ****. My suggestion is to have for each droplink type a way to set it to squad only or for your entire team.
Lastly, it would be great if you could plant these devices, pick them up and replant them again at a different location.
Also FFS CCP please get a move on alternate control schemes. I can't hit the side of a barn with anything that doesn't have splash damage. I'm right handed, but use a lefty fps control scheme. I play hockey left, golf right, baseball right and yes, I know that sounds weird, but one of these days I'd like to be able to shoot at an afk dust player with his back turned :)

I like the replant idea. I see no reason why a half used NH or DU should be useless once it falls behind a tactical position. Scoop up that 3-uses-left DU and throw it a second time...
There IS a way to differentiate between the two NH varieties. The plain NH has a symbol that is 3 bullets, the armor repper NH has a little cross next to the bullets. Granted, on the minimap you can just barely make out the cross, but its there for the trained eye to feast upon. |

you cant see the plus sign, they need to make it bigger or a different color. or its pointless putting sp on it. i have 20/20 vision with a 50 inch led tv so ya its pretty bad

Hm. I can see the difference just fine.
You have 20/20 vision and a 50 inch led tv, but are you using an HDMI cable?
That made the difference between night and day for me.
If we change the color of the nanofields, that would simply make it easier for enemies to determine what kind of hives we are deploying... I'd rather that not happen.
But the relocation hives and uplinks is very welcomed. |

While there is a way to tell the difference between an ammo nanohive and an ammo/armor nanohive, it is not obvious enough for most players I run across. Making the nanohive field green for armor ones would be nice. |

I agree for the most part, but there is a notification when you are standing in a healing hive.
It's your health going up. It's pretty easy to notice, all you have to do is look.
I'd also like to re-supply hives/DU's at a supply depot. Why do you make us switch to a different suit and then back just to re-up our hives/DUs? |

Yes but many times they people I come across don't even walk into the hives to notice it. I place it right in front of an injured teammate and he runs away. There's no arguing that the difference in hives is obvious enough as is.
And yes, I completely agree. You can restock remote explosives without switching suits so why not the rest of your equipment?

As a fellow logibro I can honestly say with some people it could be flashing neon green HEAL HERE above it and people would run away. Hell I've rezzed people, started repping them, and they STILL will run away with only two ticks of their armor left. |

I agree. I'm just spitballing ideas. They definitely need to be easier to distinguish one from another to the average pub player. |

I've had the same problem. I guess it would depend on the scenario. If you pop an armour reppper nanohive on a sniper I could understand why he would run away as he doesn't want to stand inside a glowing bubble that makes his location easy to find. No excuse for heavies though or assaults.
