Here is my current dropsuit setup:
Assault Suit
Assault Mass Driver
Burst Scrambler Pistol
Flux Grenade
Nanohive
So far I've been doing alright, but I am wondering if it'd be possible to swap out my Nanohive with a different supportive tool? I'm interested in the Repair Tool or Drop Uplink, but I want to make sure it won't seriously effect my Mass Driver gameplay. |

Nanohives are needed, big time.
These days tanks are all too common, and vehicle users know supply depots are their worst enemy, second to turret installations. They will aim to destroy those depots, leaving a mass driver user starved of ammunition. |

Nanohives are a must for MD fits. Preferably try to use the variant where you can carry the most. |

This is what's wrong with your set up, Burst Scrambler is an Ammo Consuming monster and the fact you have that tied to your Mass Driver is a problem. Swap it for Norm or Assault. Burst is a good pistol but tying it up with a Mass Driver is going to eat your nanohive alive. |

To add on to Bojo's Comment,
You want to use Guaged Nanohives and if your in for the long haul, you should avoid using them if you can make it to your teams Supply Depot.

If you are asking this question, you aren't shooting enough, or you're dying too much.
