6 man squads wonGÇÖt solve the skirmish imbalance, 16 man squads will. Now I know the lot of you will want to sayGǪKIRA WANTS TO PUBSTOMP!
No actually, I want pub stomping to end. You see a major problem is if a squad of four gets queued up against a random team on the other side odds are you will get a red line match. It becomes mind numbingly boring. The same will happen with 6 people.
A lot of people are traumatized/scared of corp deploy because of this mentality.
GÇ£If a squad of four corp members destroy me, imagine 16 it will be absolute slaughterGÇ¥
It wonGÇÖt, because you will have 15 other of your corp members on your side. Or hell even 15 other mixed corp talented mercenaries that you squad up with. Every battle will be like a corp battle. This is bad for randoms right? It should be this game is about corporations, not lone wolves and idiotic randoms. Perhaps give them an exclusive solo only game mode, or let them lone wolf it anyways. Since odds are you wonGÇÖt always get 16 people to deploy. So you might get 15 war ravens and 1 solo Tritan on one side vs 16 PRO. The battle is still balanced. It will make corporations rethink their recruiting standards, and leadership positions. Past the first 16 man GÇ£A-team squadGÇ¥ can they deploy another 16 man squad or is that all they have? They will rethink there recruiting standards and encourage leadership. Some corps will evolve from this and others will perish. You will have to distribute your talent within your corp and not always hurdle your A-team together. If you hurdle, the odd men out will begin to leave that corp because they arenGÇÖt getting support from the more experienced members.
Currently the game is a dice roll whether you are going to face two stacked squads or complete randoms.
LetGÇÖs take mag for example, you could do corp deploy into pub matches. You might run into STB, DBD, KEQ, and many of the other respectable clans. It is always interesting to have a good mix up. If you run solo in MAG you begin to hate the game, but then you realize GÇ£Hey this clan is always dominating, let me join them. You get a sense of community, and immersion. Your clan will train you in tactics and skill tree advice. Something randoms seem to be struggling with.
16 man deploy will give us some versatility and meanings to corporations right now. Plus rolling with 16 of your buds does sound pretty fun :D MMO is about cOMMunity. (see what I did there?)

Yeah but think about this, imagine 9 talented mercs can still fight back against 16 dust university members.
There will be pub murder in either solution, but alot less with the 16 man deploy. The random will soon realize to join a corp! |

Corp battle is 8 vs 8, and you get no isk, no sp. It's also like setting up a date. It's like meet me on sunday at 8 o clock, lots of coordination for one 30 minute round that really bags you nothing but glory. Plus it isn't randomized.

Sorry but allowing Corps to field more of their Corp won't stop pubstomping it will make it sooooo much worse.
