It was a calculated risk, giving the Sham the reigns of T-I. He had a history of pirating and scamming in New Eden and we were warned. That being said, he did have an extensive knowledge of PvP and EVE, which we needed to tap into for our expansion efforts into the New Eden universe. It's not everyday a "day 1" EVE player offers to join and teach. To compromise on this gamble he was only given limited access to our website, so he doesn't even have secrets or anything "Classified". He made what amounts to a dent in the corp in New Eden and a scratch on Tritan Industries as a whole.
I assure you all, that this is not "spinning" a story. This is the truth. He stole what amounts to chump-change and he booted most people out of the corporation by somehow generating stock, despite there being none issued because the mechanic does not exist in DUST514, when a corp is formed within Dust.
Shamrock is driven by ego, as well as is his cohort, Exmaple Core (btw, they know each other and are close friends IRL). He will up-play his successes as if they were acts of god, when in fact he moved prematurely and hardly accomplished anything in the grand scheme. I leave you with a thought from Sun Tzu:
Subtle and insubstantial, the expert leaves no trace; divinely mysterious, he is inaudible. Thus he is master of his enemy's fate. |

Tritan has officially moved on. This event, like all events, is history. It's what makes us who we are, and what builds our brand. Seeking retribution, or war-dec'ing those who are somehow tied, would be counter-intuitive of a forward thinking and forward moving corporation. It would also be counter-productive, in that as the game is not even released yet, we need to continue to adapt and evolve as the game does. Our energies would be best spent internally.
I apologize to the trolls and readers of this thread and MRA that they will not get the excitement that is corp-drama and drama-fuelled wars. It is what it is.
See you on the battlefield. -Blue DeVille Chief Information Officer tritan-industries.com |
