Killzone engine, particularly, the online graphics are equal to the SP graphics, something even Crysis 3 PS3 can't say it can do.
Why not.. it's Sony right, so.
now PERHAPS this would be coding dilemma and be really ******* hard to optimize this far in, but you can google "games in different engines" that small dev teams do with games, plus Sony could drop some cashish into it, maybe even Guerilla would help.
But please, if you're going to run along with the idea, don't tell me theres anything better than the Killzone engine.. I've yet to see any game manage those visuals with 32 players in ONE doorway.
Plus Killzone 2 has a massive map, so it possible.
PLUS Dust is not graphically crazy so it could still probably handle 24v24
idk guys the textures in this game just really get to me once i die a lot,

Your first post doesn't add anything that makes your suggestion in the title any more feasible or realistic.
his response is invalid because I addressed the issue he raised in this line:
"now PERHAPS this would be coding dilemma and be really ******* hard to optimize this far in"
meaning, that although I realize its not going to happen, I wanted to discuss the what if and how.
