I'm supposed to nod sagely while people pontificate about teaching blue dots to be better players when in-game discussions are usually reduced to random swearings-at and hard, flinty silence? I am trying to introduce a mechanism that does punish blind, stupid, suicide play and lets experienced players whisper gently in someone's ear while they are waiting to spawn, "You know, if you would thus-and-thus, you wouldn't die so." I doesn't have to be five seconds, but it would help if playing suicidally wasn't so damaging to matches. Just like any skill that we pay ISK and AUR for, having basic value in not dying is something worth acquiring in this game. Ok, so it's a bad idea and I'm a troll. Maybe you're calling me troll so that I won't post bad ideas so often and ruin the forum... Oh, that's right, that's a dumb idea.
