I have the 80GB ps3 with the k around the end of the serial code or whatever and I'd like to know if all Playstation 2 games on the Playstation Network are playable on it?
I'd like to buy and download Midnight Club 2 and San Andreas if this is possible :) |

Perhaps this should be asked on the PSN forums rather than the Dust forums. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you can. But go ask there first as I have the first edition fat PS3. |

Just note you may have weird issues if the game plays really really odd from normal expentancies you may need to make posts to see if its a bug or not unique your hardware. |

As an active member of the official playstation forums I can say they are right. Any ps1, ps2, ps mini, and ps3 game that can be purchased on the playstation store can be played on the ps3, regardless of what model it is.

Edit: my playstation is the same model and I play practically every game on the ps store, including ps2 classics
True. And there's a PS2 bios available to download if you have any doubts. It corrected some of the problems I had playing some of my old PSX and PS2 games. But then that might have only been for my model.

Thanks for the replies guys :) Ill definitely be getting some ps2 games I never had a chance to get. And I never had any problems with Silent Hill when I downloaded it but thats just me :P |
