So, there are wars going on between Gallente Vs Caldari and Minitar Vs Amarr. Would this war ever end? One more thing, are we hired by the Factions or the Capsuleers? Kinda confused o.O |

The only way to stop the war between the 4 states would be to include a threat the scares even the Jovians. |

Being that EvE is largely player driven the null sec contracts are from player corporations. Perhaps the public matches are from the NPC corporations/states. |

I mean, what happened to those people? Suppose they come back and beat the snot out of everyone...even the Amarr who would risk anything to win? |

Not so much the Jovians but ones the Jovian Directorate fears above all others, the ones who they say are no longer human. I just forget their name. |

Question 1) The wars are "cold" wars with finghting restricted to certain areas/rules of engagement, there is a constant espeionage war going on between all four empires even between the traditional allies. The Empires are so large that only certain factions within the empires actually want war.
Question 2) Both. Right now its Faction only. Capsuleer fights will probably come at some point, ccp just added "mercenary contracts" to eve, for capsuleers to hire capsuleers, so its likely this is part of the big plan to include dust mercs too.

They are called Sleepers. They are offshoot of the Jovians who went to live in suspended animation as a way to "cure" the Jovian Disease. The implants in question were their virtual reality interfaces that allowed them to play Second Life all the time while their bodies were in cryostasis.
In the novel Templar One, it is shown that capsuleers are committing genocide by harvesting Sleeper implants. No wonder the Alpha mercs were going nuts- they had dead Sleepers in their heads wanting revenge and a way to get home.
The EVE Chronicle 514 also suggests that some of the Sleepers have awakened and gone looking for the heads of the four factions. |
