I have raised this numerous times that playing badly nets your better rewards and salvage. There is not incentive to play well in this game. I join a game which is almost over and we loose and I get 350K ISK, 5 proto Assault suits and 10 Balacs.
They games where I go and get over 2000 WP I end up with 200K - 250 ISK and no salvage.

The isk reward is rather meaningless and you get the same salvage by win or loss. For me the pubs are all about win fast or lose fast, doesn't matter which outcome. |

Tbh you SHOULDN'T get salvage if you lose. If you win, then you obviously have the clones to search the battlefield for left over goodies.
Would at least be a step in the right direction. Cause TBH getting paid to lose is kinda meh. |

Which is why people don't go for objectives, red line snipe, kill their own team members, sit in the MCC/
All of the issues with this game oil down to the victory/defeat screen meaning squat. My suggestion goes largely unnoticed. In eve when you win a fleet battle, your side gets to loot the field, you even get some of your stuff back. This tiny difference makes a team work together and not all scatter when they don't want to lose their own stuff.
Plus you get to the loot the other team. With cool no AUR prototpe suits and rare weapons being used on the battlefield, I can see no better compensation for winning than getting 20% of your lost gear back, and 20% of the enemies lost loot should get divided up and given to the winning team.
Right now it's stupid dumb, no game would ever be release with no reward for winning are you kidding me? Why do you all sit back and defend this totally nonsensical design choice? |

Sadly, I think this is true. I played a :45sec game with 25wp for a drop uplink and got 10 Balacs.
Spoils of war should be reserved for the victors.
That's a great incentive to play better. |

Dude you are so right. The trick to getting cool gear is to constantly do bad.
The first match you do bad;- the rewards are meh.
The second match you do bad;- the rewards get better.
After that you get some really cool proto stuff.
The only thing bad about it is that it fucks up your KD and WL ratios. Cant wait for 0.0 battles. I am already so sick of this babying noobs.
Edit: My KD went from 11 to 9.2 but I have got so much cools stuff lying around I cant wait till the market comes out. Jokes aside I have about 500 million in assets lying around excluding officer weapons. |

I was talking to someone last night who had around 1.2mil sp and 30 balacs and 20 krins with other officer gear.
Think of all these scrubs who are picking up officer gear and will never play the game again after a week.  |

The difference in ISK payout is minimal at most. Add in the fact that in Skirmish you might end up dying a few times more because you're going hard for the objectives to secure the win than the guy staying back to save his suit. Then you'll probably end up getting much less ISK than the guy with comparable numbers on the other team.

In my experience, the final payout is tied solely to your WP and time spent in game, win or lose. I tend to do fairly consistently on both my main and my alt, and my rewards are almost always the same within a tolerable variance. If there are better rewards for winning, it is in the 10s of SP and the 1000s of ISK, and therefore negligible.
As far as salvage goes, I haven't seen any rhyme or reason to how that works so I am pretty sure it is random. |
