Hi everybody, I just formed my own player corp and I am wondering what all I can currently do with it. Can I challenge other corps and things like that? Is there a good thread already about this question? |

To challenge other corps, you will probably need to have at least 4 to 8 people on at any given time. That being said, the thing you need to do when you start a corp is recruit recruit recruit. There are a couple corp related threads in this section so I advise you to search through them and read up on what some of the more experienced people say. |

By 4 to 8, he really means 8. If you try to fight a corp battle, which maxes at 8 players, with only 4 or 5 guys, you've already lost.
That being said, your best bet is to find other corps with the roughly the same size/skill level as you, and get together to set up times when you both fight each other (if you each agreed on a certain amount of players, you wouldn't necessarily need 8). Another piece of advice is not to put up relatively big contracts (5+ mil), because some of the higher-end corps will jump on that.
Later on, CCP will be (re)introducing Faction Warfare which will allow more functionality of player Corps, including owning districts/planets. |

Agreed, though you can 'bargain' for 4v4 matches with other smaller corps. As you stated, most large corps wont be in on it as they do 8v8.
None of that matters though unless you have the player base to support it. I forget what the recommended multiplier is (think its 4x) but you have to assume that you need far more people in your corp to account for real life and time zones. |
