Or are we just stuck with the new and improve broken solution?
There are no acknowledgements to any of the Bug Reports from Devs that I have found. This issue has been going on for nearly two weeks now and CCP/Shanghai still Stonewalls the situation.
Are Kills and Deaths only randomly counted now? Mine never change except once in a while. With so many of the Corps and Mercs CoD KD/R nut jobs it gets irritating to know if you are sinking in the mire of New Berries or not?
If you are going to drop tracking K/D then take it out completely.
If this is yet another bug that shall go unacknowledged than you have sunk to a new low. Which, quite frankly, surprises even your most jaded cynic. That would be me if you consider my attitude regarding your prowess as Software Developers. Just typing that makes my fingers hurt. |

You really get worked up over some of the most ridiculous ****.
CCP doesn't repsond to every bug that is reported, but that does not mean they are not noting the reported issues and trying to fix them. They have said this several times in the past, over the last three builds. I would hate to have seen your reaction when this game was in the build around September - you would have **** a brick and suffered a coronary.
In short: Chill out, relax, they are only meaningless numbers that are especially meaningless given that we are in beta. No one is questioning your superiority as a 1337 fps player because your stats are not even being updated (hell, I think I have looked at the stats once or twice since August) and give CCP time to fix issues. Two weeks is not that long for beta fixes and quite honestly, fixing k/d stats boards should be the lowest of the low for priorities right now. |

Fixing a script problem is an afternoons work. At most. IF they have source code control one might even find out what was messed up in under thirty minutes. Which could be Hot Fixed on the server side the next day.
I have been down here in the DUST since summer, BTW. And don't fret, my heart is stronger than their coding skills.
Outside of DUST, I spent 25 years in the business and I have little tolerance for anybody that cannot do their job. Sorry, just the way I am wired. Normally I can be patient and, indeed was very patient over the summer and fall releases, but we are in Open Beta now. Messing up basic functionality does not bode well to managing an ongoing project with real customers. Even if it is Only a game and Only Beta breaking the infrastructure is ... beyond description. |

We've got a defect filed on this but have been unable to reproduce it internally. If you can give us additional details, we'd appreciate it. |

It's not random, although I thought it was, too until reading this Mark Rime guy's post on another thread on this bug.
As noted here, it seems to be tied into a game ending on clones. When one of the MCCs is destroyed, no update on kills, deaths and warpoints. When one of the teams' clone reserves runs out, they do update.
CCP Eterne posted in that thread a couple of times, but I don't believe it's had a CCP response since the post I linked to above made the connection with the win conditions.

All day my stats have not worked. After I noticed it I wrote down my kills and deaths and so far they have not changed. I noticed around 6 hours ago came back just played more games and still nothing.
Even though stats are mostly meaningless, it is frustrating when you go 53/3 44/0 and see nothing. I would at least like it to add to my kills.
I have patience but this does need to be fixed asap, it is not good when you have errors with the stats. It makes me worried about more complicated stuff down the road. |

LOL... chill out. Stats still work in Ambush, just play that mode to CCP finds the problem. I personally enjoying that for a bit, my K/D ratio is going up, and my kills count is also going up too. When i play Skirmish i focus to much in WP, and my other stats are not as good as they could be...
... in other words, just adapt mate. |

The only details I can provide are:
- It only happens on Skirmish.
- I had an unrelated bug that required a complete new installation of the game. And the K/D non-recording bug is still there. ( I believe it is a server side bug)
- It does not happen on Ambush modes.
If there is any truth to the bug being tied to the condition of game ending (MCC destroyed vs. Clone depletion). Could you not test that by temporarily lowering clone reserves in Skirmish via hot fix? So that you would guarantee a win by clone elimination.
Or make a test Skirmish mode and solicit feedback?
This is still a beta correct? I'm willing to help find this bug. |

There are no more details to give. Every Skirmish you play doesnt give you kills or deaths or warpoints on your character sheet or leaderboards. You can play all week long at 7590 kills and it wont change. Unless you play Ambush. Then you only get the kills deaths and warpoints for that Ambush. The 30 skirmishes you played before the ambush gave u nothing. Im sorry Devs but theres no way to give you any more detail than that. SKIRMISH IS BROKE. I also played some corp battles last night and had the same outcome. Ive played so much ambush that I wanna puke. Once they get this fixed im never playing crappy ambush ever again. |

I did get my stats in a skirmish when we cloned the opposing team. So that may have some piece of it as well. |
