Cigars, top hats, and $70 monocles. Gentlemen's Agreement has decided to change that. As such, we are here. Bringing style, class, and many delicious tears to a battlefield near you. http://www.dust-gents.com Gentlemen's Agreement is a major sovereignty-holding alliance which controls over 50 star systems in New Eden. We are a valued member of the CFC, the most powerful coalition in the game. As DUST 514 develops, our alliance will be providing valuable support to our forces, both financially and tactically. We bring a powerful empire to the table. But someday we will need mercenaries to defend it, and even the most independent mercenary needs a place to call home. We've banded together the following fourteen corporations into the starting core of our DUST arm. These aren't all just EVE players trying to PvP on a console. We are DUST mercs. We are interested in dedicated DUST players to strengthen and support our corporations. Please feel free to contact any of our corporations below, or contact me directly for help in placement. We provide strategies and assistance, and are more than happy to help teach you to be a more skilled player and a better teammate. We may also add additional corporations as appropriate culturally and financially. In particular, we will be looking to enhance our EUTZ presence in the near future. Send in an application so we can make our CEO spend some SP on the next Corp Skill level ^_^ On a serious note, this is the classiest alliance in New Eden. Checkout any of the recruitment threads for the GENTS Corps and send in an application. If you enjoy sipping the finest distilled tears in a lounge by the fire, this is an alliance you need to be a part of. One of the major benefits that caught my attention is the ability to scrimmage against each other -Cheap contracts that allow you to train, strategize, and prepare the best gluteus kicking match against a non-alliance Corp for high ISK returns..

We squad up a heck of a lot between all of the corps, and everyone I've worked with so far has been professional and mature. I'd easily recommend any and all of these corps.

We might if it helps us find more fun things to do as an alliance, though our primary focus is looking forward to nullsec, where our EVE alliance lives. In that regard, Planetary Conquest is likely a closer match for us to focus our efforts on. Right now, there's little benefit to "picking a side" in Faction Warfare, but that system is supposed to change significantly in the next update.

Sorry if it is a stupid question but I can't know everything. As a corp, the majority of us in Cygnus are quite partial to Gallente. but as Soraya said above, it's not really significant right now. Corp comes first, then the alliance as a whole (especially in regard to keeping our null sec space when the time comes), and then fighting in Faction war as needed or wanted for fun.

Seriously, CCP needs to implement Alliance UI on the DUST side where this info will be shown and utilized. As things are, it's hard to tell who truly stands with who.

If I could have a minute Soraya to pick your brain I would greatly appreciate it. Obviously by my being here I am looking for a Corp. What I hoping to avoid, if at all possible, is joining a Corp that is only in an alliance with a Corp that is a branch of a Corp from EVE. I'm currently flying without a Corp in EVE and in my search I am hoping to find a Corp on both platforms that are directly related by the same players that I can join. I know that the Gent's actually control galactic space but at the moment the opening post stated your Dust Corp isn't actively recruiting. Is there any exceptions to someone looking for a dual Corp membership or can you direct me to a Corp in your alliance that holds a dual standing in EVE/DUST? Reading through allot of recruitment posts I feel I would do well working with gentlemen of your play style, but a little more insight would be helpful, Thanks.

My personal theory sits that your EVE characters will glean the best benefit from being in one of our EVE corps, and your DUST characters will glean the best benefit from being in one of our DUST corps. Thataways, you are surrounded by people focused on the game you are playing at any given time. I do know Zebra Corp [ZEBR] and Zebra Merc [ZMERC] are attached to one another. In the case of Gentlemen's Foreign Legion, its kinda an altcorp for DUST alts of people in our EVE corps. There is a somewhat one-sided arrangement currently. If you get into a Gents corp on the EVE side, with an EVE character, you are guaranteed a placement in our DUST corps. However, if you join our DUST corps, that is not currently a guarantee we'll have a home for you in EVE. It's something I'm actively working on, as many of our DUST players have shown interest in exploring the possibility of playing EVE with us as well. My corp in Gentlemen's Agreement is Legio Geminatus [XXVII], I believe their recruitment channel is "The Legion Hall". I know that Strange Energy [SRNE] has recruiters looking to help newer players learn to fight with us, and may be a corp you would want to look at. I don't know where you are in EVE and what you do in EVE, so it's hard for me to suggest somewhere specifically. While I do recommend that your EVE and DUST characters are in different corps, Gentlemen's Agreement is Gentlemen's Agreement. If you're with us, you're a Gent. When I'm flying, I don't recognize the difference between a member of my corp, and a member of my alliance, we're all friends. Our alliance is very active in both EVE and DUST, and we'd love to get to know you better. :) If there's anything I can clarify or answer, let me know.

Right now, you can't contract stuff out anyways, though they're obviously working on it. I could both see us taking contracts if we need more to do, and us putting contracts out there if we're overtaxed. But it all depends on what the game brings us. Obviously, in any situation, those loyal to us will be given high priority. We take care of our own first. We are growing in all timezones. For a strong community who actively seek out squads not just within their own corps and to get involved in planetary conquest from day one with an alliance that will be a significant player look no further than Gents. Well actually look a lot further then realize that there was no need and apply to Gents as a corp or to join one of our member corps.
