Please, no real player says being a good HAV player doesn't take skill.
But BS is BS. Every other role/fitting has drawbacks and limits.
Tanks can destroy infantry, land vehicles, air ships, infrastructure, can snipe, can move faster than infantry,..., all with ONE clone. Basically, at this point, its stupid not to be using an HAV as your super drop suit.
Right now, and while past is no indication of future, CCP has not really delivered much. So it is what it is.
PS: For a good infantry to get same KDR as good HAV requires a lot more effort/skill.
note: Im full Assault AR, it was my fault thinking this game would be designed around the player, but as it stands this is a game of HAVs. I had my fun, but these are classic mistakes, there is nothing that shows any advancement in FPS genre than the ones from ten years ago. They literally are re-inventing wheel/relearning mistakes. Take that back, some of the previous games are way more polished.
Four tiny maps in Ambush, and after many thousands of matches you still get stuck, hives fall through floor,...

like iv said before on other posts, im not giving up my tank because someone doesn't like it, tank drivers hate av equipment all around, its what kills us, and assaulters like you hate everything because everything kills you.
Nope, everything does not kill me. I might not be pro, but I am good. I have fun, even take out tanks, but they destroy my ability to get Warpoints in a house(HAV player) always wins manner.
The key is what do you do with one clone versus anyone else does with one clone. Why does everybody else have to change/adapt to deal with you. But an HAV player does not. That is the issue. You didn't say why your one clone can do everything/practically self sufficient.
You don't see the issue of telling other players to change and adapt to you, while you just use your one HAV?
Classic problem, not even unique to FPS genre...
