A Jovian suit or vehicle attacking you. It would happen so fast, that by the time you realised you were attacked, you would be on the ground dying That is something I would not want to happen in this game. |

You haven't heard? Once you max out all the current dropsuit skills, you'll unlock the Jovian dropsuits and dropsuit skill. Kappa |

Maybe one day you'll see a Jovian suit, but you'll never wear one. Not until the Jovians reopen the EVE Gate and lead us through to defend Earth from a Cthulonic invasion, anyways.
It could happen. |

No Jove for EVE? No Jove for Dust. That gear would be so far beyond Officer gear that you'd one-shot any suit on the map, and tank a full team of 24. |

You mean like the time 5 Jovian Ships demolished the crusader fleet of the Amarrian Empire without losing a single ship?
After the wormhole closed only one empire maintained its technological level of the home galaxy and that was the Jovians, who are dying out much like the Asgard of Stargate did. There have been other powers to raise and fall before the 4 main states came into power and they left many of the ruins that the wormholes lead to.
Jovian gear would just be to powerful to use in the game. It would roflstomp anything else out there if the devs put its stats to fit with the fluff. |

That was 100s of years ago before we had pod tech.
Since then we had 1000s of miltiary upgrades, tech 2 and tech 3 and better understanding of tech 1 to start matching tech 2's performance. |

It was the Jovians that gave the other states the Capsuleer technology which the mercenaries of Dust use a modified version of. And the Jovians considered that tech to be one of their lowest tiers. The other states are so far behind the Jovians it would be brutally unfair to include any of their tech. |

Not 100% true. Mercenary tech comes from sleeper technology. Its possible when adapting that technology for mercenaries they used some info from capsuleer tech but a majority of it comes from the sleeper tech.
It wouldn't make sense for there to be jovian tech in any of the games. There SOSOSOSOSOOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOS far ahead of new eden in tech. When i see the "jovian fusion turbo engine" or w/e on the market I assume the makers wanted to say the tech is advanced. There not saying we talk to jovians bro. |

I wouldn't mind seeing non-corp wars but story driven wars against the Enheduanni, Sleepers and the other one whose name began with a "T" that would be what would keep me around for Dust |

WHAT IF The Devs could throw a wildcard into the game and every so often in (the future) missions, a Jovian (bot) would be thrown into the mix and just be like the "oh ****!" moment of any game. It would go on absolute killing spree but if a team managed to kill it, that team gets a special bonus at the end of the match, regardless of win or lose.
Maybe not Jovian salvage, but rare stuff, or a ton of ISK to the person who killed it. |

A Jovian drone weapon platform spawns? I am hiding the rest of the match. |

CONCORD uses Jovian tech. They're so good at killing player ships that escaping them is considered an exploit and can get you banned. |

No, a bot as in it's a computer operated soldier, so a PVE element in PVP match. |

The only time i recall Jove actually fighting on the ground in the lore they got torn apart by a bunch of angry slave hounds.
Jove are pretty OP but I don't think ground warfare is their domain. |

Prior to EVE's release, there was a racial branch of Jove that actually specialized in cybernetics instead of genetic manipulation as an answer to the Jovian Disease. Sadly I think that concept was scrapped in favor of Sansha and Sleepers. |
