If you are the only gunner in my dropship:
Stop switching turrets.
Please.
I can see you, as I am not a moron who tries to fly in first person view in my most expensive dropship.
I know you're hanging to port or starboard, and I know you want kills.
I will ensure, a pilot's guarantee, that I will get you as many kills as possible.
When I fly towards the enemy with you on the outside, it's because I plan to do a 180 degree spin to arrest my speed, and end up with you facing the enemy.
But if you assume I'm a numbskull with a numb brain, and switch turret sides, you will end up on the outside after my turn, and the it'll lead to two minutes of confusion where you keep switching seats and I keep turning to try accommodate and a forge gunner is laughing, looking at a free meal.
Please, stay in your goddamn seat, buckle in your seat belt, and trust the pilot. |

Agreed.
However, I will switch turrets/seats if I think I am a sniper's target, until I have a better idea where that sniper is and if we can get them... but I'll be on mic talking about why I'm teleporting around, so that's not such an issue. |

Sometimes when I see them shooting at far targets with the blaster, I move the dropship so the turret faces towards the ground, where enemies are below the dropship. They don't know that blasters suck at range. |

I totally agree. However, I find that when that happens it's a good opportunity to practice "Emergency Evac Manuevers." Burn away from the hot-spot & give the Blue-Gunner a little "Ok, let's try that again." After that they usually get the point. If they don't oh well, you get a couple fun strafing runs then back to base, park it, have a smoke & hope that when you return a new gunner has replaced him/her. If they are still there they've have time to think "Hmmm, what am I doing wrong?" Thus, kinda training them....damn being a DS pilot is too much fun... |

Happens all the time when I fly, but I've gunned before, and I can tell you- sometimes the pilots are the idiots. It's pretty hard to shoot when your side of the dropship is always tilting up. |

I think most people just hop in a dropship because it shows up out of the blue. Then they want to ride along and try to shoot ****.
The guns aren't that good and they bounce around like its a disco.
Spawn in my expensive ship, fire a few rounds and when I'm hovering over the far spawn point....jump out! |

i would never trust blueberries to shoot any gun or drive, ever. if i see a dropship with gunners in it i might get in for drop over a area but this is about it. i never trust the blueberries. you should try and avoid letting a random blueberry to gun.i try and prevent them getting in my LAV unless its a ambush match as its one newberry i can save from cloning us out. in skirmish i sit there and wait for them to see that im not drving them anywhere and hop out. its better then having them spam rounds toward the mcc, turrets which im avoiding or hit the LAV with the turret while hoping they might score a kill assist atleast. green berries only on gunners with mics. |

I've found very good blueberry gunners that get me +10 kill assists in a match, but they are rare. My turret skills are low atm so my turrets deal somewhat low damage. |
