Nm man bored at work.... im trying to figure out which AR is best besides obvious stats... for example exile is basically a laser while the gek kicks like a drunk horse.... etc any thoughts? |

I was..... I reached the point where all of my core skills are 5. I had enough points in HMG to use a gastun if I ever got one and I realised that the heavy class proto is extremely under powered. So I decided I would go AR and LR assault because those are both fun and I love playing them. So I spent the 1.4 mill sp I had saved on tje proto assault light weapon sharp LR and AR skills. Since my core skills are 5 I am about 2 mill out from being done with assault. |

However this may all change when new build starts.
One thing we do know is the burst is changing from 7 round to 3 round burst. So this could either make it tons better (by cancelling any recoil it has...as it should), or make it useless like all the other ar variants (damage output will be less then 1/2 what it is, so ull be retapping R1 much more, which may making it a pain like the TAR currently is). But who knows really.
Personally, i think the AR-O skill needs to be reworded & thusly clarified by ccp as to its meaning. All operation skills help and make the weapons better/easier to use, except the ar possibly. ATM, the skill says something like, "5% bonus to recoil & spread". This means as u advance the skill it makes the weapon "harder" to use. So yeah, be good for ccp to reword the skill or clarify if bonus means increase or decrease; as all other categories specifically say decrease/reduce
