Using the Ds3 for movement, I used the mouse for aiming. This is the first time I have ever used a mouse for aiming, and it was VERY weird. I only wen't 29/6 because I couldn't jump or reload without reaching across the controller with my left hand while moving at the same time. Maybe later I'll hook up a keyboard and try it out straight-up kb/m style.
I WILL say that aiming is much more precise with a mouse, though very jumpy for me since I'm not used to kb/m FPS games. However, it seems the frames-per-second drop from time to time for no reason when using the mouse. It's not so bad as to be unusable, but it's still something to cope with. But it also lacks the flow you feel when aiming with the Ds3, which throws me off a little. I'm used to the smooth flow between targets that comes with using the Ds3, and the mouse feels more jerkey (again, may just be me since I'm new to the mouse on here).
Just thought I'd share my first mouse-Dust experience with you guys. Happy hunting. |

Mouse gives you so much more control over aiming. Its just getting your head wrapped around the keyboard.
I still use ds3 but i cant get the precision of a mouse. when i get a USB extender i will definitly use my KB/M untill then i need that usb slot for my headset That's actually why I've not tried it with my keyboard yet =P |

I've been married to the DS3 because i need to learn how to use one, but in the back of my mind I've been thinking about the Splitfish FragFX Shark. It solves the button issues. Reviews seem good. http://www.splitfish.com/index.php/en/products/5-produkte/118-fragfx-shark-ps3 OMG! I COULD SO USE THAT!
