First everyone complains and nerfs missiles into the ground and now you want to make blaster the only effective turrent?
Seriously some of the guy on this forum need to HTFU, not get caught up in this mysterious component of games called "fairness" or "honour" and understand that even if a gun can three shot a tank it comes with significan weaknesses....
Like slow rotation speed and poor CQC targeting..... Oh and did I mention tanks are so flimsy its ridiculous? First off, get your facts straight, and read. I don't care about tanks vs infantry, it's tank on tank that is a problem because of railguns. But railguns are an anti-vehicle weapon, of course they're going to dominate in tank vs tank. as robert said this is a case of scissors complaining about rock I didn't know that scissors could do about 3k damage in one shot. Since you want to play semantics, rock would technically be doing 3k damage to scissors since in this scenario rock represents the rail tank and scissors represents the blaster tank.
Also, since the topic is brought up, rock one shot's scissors in a single round of P/R/S.
Lastly, to follow this silly little argument about 3k damage to scissors to the bitter end (because I'm feeling a bit like a Richard), since P/R/S is usually played best 2 out of 3, it makes since that a tank would be 2 shotted since it takes only two rocks to beat 2 scissors, so really the tanks should all be 2-pieced by them.
If you want to get rid of a rail tank, don't use a tank, use a forge gun (read: paper).
Of course, I always called it "Parchment Stones and Shears", but perhaps I'm old fashioned. (+1 to the first one who gets that reference ) |

Rock (Railgun) does massive damage in one hit, "breaking" scissors (Blaster). Hit a pair of scissors a couple of times with a rock to break them.
Scissors (Blaster) "cuts" paper. Blaster tanks CUT DOWN infantry really quickly. Cutting is usually achieved with a series of actions rather than the single action of bashing a pair of scissors with a rock, much like the Blaster deals small amounts of damage repeatedly to destroy infantry.
Paper (infantry) wraps rock. Infantry swarm tanks. They surround the enemy without taking damage, or while taking only minimal casualties, much like a piece of paper gets creased, but not torn, when wrapped around a rock.
EDIT: Was that a Pratchett reference, Baal? Nope, think Cartoon Network |
