ran into a situation wherein a new logistics player wanted to replace their primary and sidearm weapons with grenades, so in essence he would have 3 slots for grenades, thereby allowing him to carry a more diverse array of grenades.
his reasoning is that he isn't a fighter by trade and isn't trying to engage in gunplay more into healing but the grenades allow him to still be effective in combat in CQ situations and against vehicles.

hahahaha, thats a great way to die. also, logis only have 1 weapon slot, so he'd be able to fit two. tell him to grab a shotgun or something |

I believe the Mass Driver is the preferred weapon among dedicated logis for this very reason. |

logi is not my trade but i've been running with some new and old logi players and i ran into an interesting (to me) situation:
old logi made changes to his loadout that intentionally limited his ability to engage in gunplay. friggin brill to me. never seen a team player like that, mindsetwise.
new logi began to look into grenades closely because he adopted the healer-centric attitude but still wanted to be effective on the field. so he was asking why with the low level and especially the higher level logi suits he couldnt replace the primary weapon with a second set of nades and possibly another set on an expensive suit later, if the slots permitted.
then new logic took his new grenades changes out on the field and proceeds to jackhammer about 3 or 4 vehicles into the ground.
this is the guy who in the not too distant future will be screaming "flux you!"
while the rest of us cut everyone in half because all their shields are now gone.
it's for sure not a tactic im used to but i wouldn't discount it too hard until the devs allow for it and we can some logics try it.
i know one who will
