With it being open beta tho now i dont seem to hear much come from the IRC, im not sure if the devs have an official IRC channel we can use which is also moderated by CCP ppl and is not run by a 3rd party for ther own intrests

I can only agree with this assessment,

as a fellow IRC lurker and poster I can attest that we sometimes get a direct ear to CCP. Furthermore, some information given to the dev is not always the best, and comes from players who do not even play the game anymore.

This partly due to the large influx of Fanbois who refuse to challenge the game let alone play it.

In the defense or IRC, anybody can join and participate in the rare instance a Dev is presence. Furthermore, I think the best way to fight these FANBOIS is to overpopulate them in IRC.

So join IRC and express your opinion!

@JR thank you for bringing this up. I knew they existed, but now their drafting a paper??? They're for the community, yet they have not shown a single outline. Which is UNACCEPTABLE IMO. Troubling times :(

Troubling times :( INB4 PERMI Ban for judging IRC ill They are in the process of drafting a white paper to present to CCP with the intentions of getting themselves elected on their own special little council and getting trips to shanghai and then to Iceland at a later date to talk to the EVE side CSM.
