Situation: I can hear squadmates but they cannot hear me.
I've turned the mic off and on again. I've turned voice chat/PTT off and on again. I've attempted it both with mic muted and unmuted to see whether the two states have switched around. I've gone into PS3 settings and in the mic calibration menu, can see that the mic is registering my speech, it's just not making it as far as squad chat.
So I can confirm that my mic is working, it's not on mute, and that I've turned all of the things off and on again without being able to speak to my squad.

I know this may sound like a stupid question and forgive me for asking it but,
Are you hearing your squadmates through your TV or your headphones?
Are you making sure that you are enabling voice chat in the squad box? |

Headphones.
Yes :) ETA: I'm also turning voice chat on and off in the squad box. |

I had that problem for a while and tried everything that you did. I finally figured that somehow my playstation eye was interfering with my Turtle Beach PX3. What finally worked for me is as follows:
1)Shut off the microphone
2) Disconnect the playstation eye camera from the playstation
3) In the Neocom (L1 on the main menu) go on options, and reset.
4) Turn off Press to chat, enable Voice chat
5) Turn on the microphone again.
Keep in mind that you cannot use voice chat in the local channel. You can create a squad and invite someone to test with you. The little speaker will be white if microphone is on, and whenever you talk it should turn green. Confirm with someone that it is working.
Good luck. |

Good luck. I'll try this when I get home. It may be that the Playstation Eye wasn't previously plugged in but I am certain that it is now, so this may be the issue. Thanks.

If there is that kind of conflict, there should be some investigation and resolution. I already posted a bug report. I hope it helps. Let us know if it works for you too and post your experience on the Bug thread that I created here . |
