right now every time you die whether or not you're revived counts as a death. I think by removing the death penalty, it will give more people an incentive to wait for a medic and give that medic a chance. the most annoying thing as a medic is running towards a downed player only to see them respawn. I think this solution will appeal to people who care about their KDR |

a Medic with a mic is awesome. Most people could wait 10 seconds and then NOT get revived because we dont know whos out there or whos coming to revive us. I have been revived occasionally with a random blueberry medic . However I have really amazing games when I have a medic on my squad and a mic that can communicate with me. |

Well the possibility that i could save one of my suits is enough to make me wait.
the ones i run around around 50k and i usually get around 300k on an average match
400k on a great match
and 200k on a bad match
so if im doing poorly i can only die 4 times to break even
Anytime i run more expensive gear than what i normally use it isnt an option
I CAN NOT DIE
so regardless of my K/D (K/D really isnt that important to me mines only 2.0)
i will wait for a revive
if money isn't insentive enough than idk what is

I like the idea of it not counting as a death as it gives me more chance of reviving players. As I have discovered after I got my mic very few people have them. Glad I didn't spend too much on it :-). |

How do you get 400k on a match? what exactly is a great match to you?
I have gone 15 kills 0 deaths and still dont make 400k . |

best is 51 and 5 got 430 some odd isk
if i remember right
but if you get more wp than anyone else on a match and the other team used any expensive gear it is easy to get that much isk

It was already discussed, there's a thread out there somewhere.. Anyway, you got outgunned, it should show up on your stats. Keeping your fit should be the incentive to not tap out. God help you have D-bag Logis though.. |

I wasn't aware we had a "medic problem."
The incentive to revive is to keep the ISK you spent on your suit, which isn't such a great incentive in pubbie matches, where everyone uses cheep fits. Once you go into corp matches and FW, however, you will find many more people waiting for your revive tool. |

When you're running proto gear , isk/aurum cost will be a bigger problem than K/D. |

The most I've ever made, and it's only happened once, was running as support gunner on a teammate's HAV. I think we managed to kill 6 enemy HAVs before we got blown up, and the reward at the end of the match was 550k. Generally speaking I make about 200-250, a really good game is around 300k. |

I thought it would be neat if it counted as a player kill for the person who killed you so they get WP credit.
However if revived it returns +1 clone to the clone count.
Simple to implement. Seems fair. I mean when you get revived it's not a new clone spawning in. Its the same body getting back up. IMO for logic sake, this needs to be done. |

You will have to look up the match isk calculations, basically it boils down to getting more money for destroying gear that is greater than yours.
For instance if you were militia level and killed a few proto suits you would get more isk than killing a few militia suits. Also destroying structures increases your isk as well. |

I also think you should not be given a death if you are revived. Too many medics run in without first clearing the area, revive you with a crappy Nanite Injector, only for you to stand up and immediately get mown down again. They then proceed to repeat this over and over again while you rack up the deaths. It's actually kinda comical.
For this reason, if I think there is any chance I'm going to get immediately killed again after being revived, I won't wait for that revive... |

You're going to have to kill considerably more than that. Also, Lots of WP. Lets ballpark around 2000+. Your team needs to win the game, and you should be in top spot.
And ding! 400k+ isk reward.
