Quote:Hello dusters So it seems a lot of people from PC are under the impression that KB/M is far superior to DS3 This is simply not true While YOU may do better using KB/M this is not "the way FPS are meant to be played" While i totally respect your opinion and encourage you to use the gear that you do well with some find the mouse to be cumbersome and inaccurate. I enjoy playing PC games I played a lot of Planetside 2 I hated using KB/M and after a few weeks of failing miserably i downloaded some software that allowed me to use my DS3 on Planetside. Instant improvement I started shooting more on target, and got far more kills. While you personally may find it easier to play with KB/M that doesnt mean that anyone not using it is instantly worse than you.
FPS games were born with KB/M setup, when we were kids a console could not run an FPS like Quake or Half life properly and there were no Console LAN game weekends to go up against each other in counterstrike, nor where there any proper gamepads for pc.
Consoles did not have any internet connectivity until Sega's Dreamcast console and then it took until the PS3 to get broadband support. So basically since Xbox & PS3 came out there were no shooter games on console at all.
And while you kids grew up with a gamepad making it second nature to you guys, we grew up with a mouse & keyboard making it second nature to us.

Same can be said of you guys, you pick up a KB/M setup and claim its impossible, while you forget we have been using it for the past 20 years, its not something you can just step away from pick up a controller and go at it.
KB/M has every right to be here because its an FPS, just like the controller because its a console and btw the new PS4 uses a PC infrastructure so basically its a PC with a gamepad.
Just use what yer good at and if you are truly good it doesn't matter what controller input you use, if you suck at FPS games, no matter what you use, it won't be good enough.
I stepped out of FPS games for 10 years, took me at least 3 months to get any sort of awareness back, if you have never played FPS games, its gonna be a rough ride
