First off, that video isn't even of Dust. it doesn't have the mouse turn limiter in it that Dust has, so it's pretty much invalid as far as I'm concerned. A build ago, the limiter was broken and sensitivity and turn rate were ridiculous if you didn't have an expensive mouse that had on the fly adjustable DPI. But since the beginning of the current build, those limiters are working again. |

I just wanted you guys to see, how a good DS3 player can dominate a game, and how it will find it hard to use a mouse.
The same rule applies the other way around.
And like i say... i will love to make such a comparison my self in Dust 514, but i don't know how to record game-play in the PS3. |

I use a DPI adjusting mouse and have it on max.

Mouse users have a limiter on them that artificially cripples most players, no ****. |

Currently on DUST there's a glitch (?) where KB+M users move quicker (strafe, turn, HAV's move faster) than people who use DS3's.
I get that kbm users want to feel more elite or whatever, but its not balanced right or its bugged. Nothing wrong in being able to get precision aim but when you can strafe and do all that other stuff faster than a person using a controller on a console, something's wrong.
Just my 0.02. |

Just my 0.02.
Its only with tanks, i have not remotely noticed faster movement(not turn) speed on infantry and have done tests where i strafe with kb then with controller,
then i move forward with kb, and then take over with ds--> let go of kb and no drop in speed, do that in reverse also ds3 first then kb let go of ds3 no increase in speed.
Tested backward movement too no difference. Used a stop watch and a two uplink 100m apart. |

I've seen videos with a heavy using mkb and even with my sensitivity on max I can't turn as quick. |
