I think that we should the turn speed on each suit type hard capped no matter what input device someone uses.

This could be used as a great tool to balance different suit types and could add a whole bunch of possibilities for skills and modules that affect suit turn speed.

It is hard capped for the kb/m and for the controller. I swap between the 2 and the turn rates are the same.

Can you post your controller settings and mouse DPI?

 I'd like to test this.

 EDIT: Also PS3 mouse settings.

CCP thought ahead on this one. It's true, they have the same max turn ratios between DS3 and KB/M. And turn speed IS dependant on suit.

As far as I know, they are the same, just a bit harder to use depending on which youre more used to (kb/m or controller) and there are different hardcaps for different suit types. I imagine you want to return to the days where it was very apparent between a heavy and a scout, where a scout could forever run circles around a heavy because they couldn't turn fast enough.

Scouts can still do this.

I've done it in the militia scout fit I use for dropping uplinks. It's not really that hard.

ahh my bad, I just know I haven't changed my basic fitting since then and I can no longer do that. But I stack armor plates on my scout, so I'm a bit slower than the normal scout.
