Hey everyone, we are currently running several recurring contract matches for attendees of the Singapore Game Show. These attendees will be utilizing supered characters to better provide a challenge to our regular DUST players, so please take this into consideration before entering these matches. The matches will be running from today until March 3rd. |

Woohoo!!
I had an absolute blast yesterday playing with them (and it went quite well too). With these new fittings tho I'm a bit worried - but w/e I have a bad ratio anyway! Time to lose some!

I think you need to give the participants a warning before they play.
"Just because we give you supered characters doesn't mean you stand a chance of winning, some testers have been playing this client for a year."

Have enjoyed these matches, especially with the new spawn system... but a couple matches have just been elephant stampedes over the enemy. Granted, I pulled almost 400k out of a couple matches in a row (and wearing level1 logi gear means ranking well up and making absolute bank) but I worry whether some gameshow attendees might be put off as newberries may be by oldberries stomping face...
Still, I have enjoyed them, especially with the new spawn mechanics.
And I NEVER thought I'd enjoy an Ambush match |

Haha, I think I was in this match. It was SVER, and they melted faces. This is why you use cheap fits and try and learn how to take their precious tanks out. It's been fun going against the better fittings and players and learning how to beat them. They usually get the best of me, but I get pretty darn close to taking them out with my crappy fittings, and that gives me encouragement. Although as I said in another post, when your flux grenades and militia swarm launchers don't even dent those f-ing tanks, kinda takes all the fun out of it. |

KDR means nothing in the long run of this game. ill gladly go 6-12 in free bpo suits against guys with duvolles and madrugars, knowing all the Isk at the end is free and I'm still pulling in SP and killer salvage. |

The matches where the enemies bring in tanks are, by far, the most fun. Pull out your AV and hunt'em down. They are easy to box in, and it's satisfying to know you wiped out so much ISK worth of gear. Heck, my team won a match in these the other night where the enemy called in 4 (four) STD tanks. If more people would just spend one or two lives in AV gear every time a tank comes down, this wouldn't be a problem. |
