Hi everyones!!
So, having recently joined a small corporation of EVE players that I know IRL (Vitae Corporation), I'd like to know which interactions are currently available? For now I could only join the corporation and I've the possibility of donating her ... I also can communicate with them via chatbox, which is actually useless because they use TS.
Also witch future actions planned with or via EVE players? Despite all our research is rather vague at the moment ...
Is my corp players need to do something special in EVE to unlock mercenaries or corporations combats?
And finally last question: Does a corporation to (or will) need an army of DUSTs players (like 16 to constitute an entire team) or handle (so a squad of 4) or just a lone mercenary (as is the case for me), not (or may) be sufficient to perform certain tasks or objectives?
Thank you in advance and IG soon!

1) Do not donate isk to EVE from dust. A single EVE player can easily make 100m isk per hour, consistently.
2) As far as corporation level goes, a solo player will not be able to contribute much by fighting. Instead, you can build an infrastructure and a name for the corp so, that it can support more mercs and attract them.
3) To do "corp stuff" you need multiple players. You can figure out solo things that use corp contracts, like consulting, but I'll leave that to you. |

The only meaningful interaction between Dust and EVE right now is Orbital Bombardments.
EVE Orbital Bombardments require small guns on a ship and a special kind of ammo, so they would need to train for that.
EVE Orbitals can only be use in Low-Sec, which means they're unable to use them for your random, High-Sec battles. In order to participate in a Low-Sec battle, you need to be able to field at least 8 people at once and participate in a Faction Contract, or Corp Battle.
Corp Battles are against a single enemy corp and it is an 8 vs 8 battle and they take place on several planets in Low-Sec, which is the Faction Warfare area of EVE. If your corp is not enrolled in Faction Warfare, you could attempt to go into low sec to drop orbital strikes, but chances are you would not survive the trip there, as any militia will actively attack you on the way to the planet.
If you want to drop orbitals for your Dust team, I suggest you have your EVE corp think about getting into Faction Warfare. There is a lot of literature out there about doing just that, so take a look around if you're interested. |
