It's always cute when bad corps take up for each other. I vaguely remember Scrubdreddit getting a combined 36 kills and 109 deaths vs UA, with a grand total of one Scrubdreddit player going positive... at 10-8. Perhaps your focus should be on recruiting non-bads instead of making poor analogies on the forum.
I find it hilarious that in the roughly 2,000 members between Scrubdreddit and Planewbtary Response Organization, they can't find 8 guys capable of giving even the most average UA player a challenge.
We let our newbros fight corp battles. Those little 8v8 circle jerk have absolutely zero bearing on the long term structure of the game. Have fun constantly defending your one or two districts when the game is actually finished... assuming your corp still exist by then.
no one really expects the game to stay 8v8 but CCP has also confirmed it wont be a zerg game as well
they dont want the smaller guy to not be able to hold something.
some food for thought for the mass recruiting corps out there. Not necessarily TEST since they got their own little community to recruit from which tbh is nice, this more for the ppl who spam mails or mass recruit in local
nothing wrong with being big but make sure the ppl u got are actually useful, and training wise if the ppl training the "newbies" are bad then what sort of results ppl expect to get?
more food for thought.
No, you are correct, this is why our newbros fight in corp battles. We have YET to fight a corp battle in which we didn't have AT LEAST one guy who has never BEEN IN a corp battle before, and generally at least half the guys in a given corp battle could very well be considered "newbies" to the game in general.
You guys do what you do, and you do it well. We will continue to do what we do, and we will just have to wait and see who ended up making the better choices about how their time was spent. There will surely be a balance between zerging and being overly effective with a small meta-game ignorant force. Subdreddit is aiming to hopefully sit within that balance. Furthermore, with our fo us on ways to improve the newbro experience and incorporate new players into the fold to be as effective as possible as quickly as possible, we hope to position ourselves to better weather the inevitable console player churn that will likely see many corps losing important pieces of their team every time a new popular FPS hits the scene. It'll be tough for an average corp to hold their av3rage sized districts when their average players keep moving on to other average games when they get bored being average and underutilized.
That being said, what YOU guys do and what UA do aren't really the same thing as far as I can tell . the differences are quite clear in skill, execution, metagame, etc. They are an average group of average guys doing average things in an average way.
That being said, I did edit my original post to be a bit less inflammatory, but since you managed to quote it in the short minute and a half time span that it existed, I'll stand by the statement.
