The newness is wearing off. It's been a month and a half since the open beta started and that new influx of players is now getting bored and jaded.
This new fix really drives the point home that when CCP has patched and fixed issues, it's always too little too late. The lack of communication really bites them. For example, look at the topic about weapon attachments. CCP mentioned its coming but is a very large system to install. After they said this, the posts qq about the lack thereof died down dramatically
The point is, the more you keep us in the dark, the more animosity it generates. |

For alot of us closed beta testers that have been in this for 10+ months the biggest gripe is....
NO NEW CONTENT.
Same maps, same game modes for close to a year is old for ANY game, let alone a "beta".

Preachers are gonna preach you to take a break from the game. You should think about AFK farming and getting into Eve. You can grief them some more from space.

Already played EVE.... twice. Once for 3 months and now for 6 and just cancelled my account again. It's definitely an in depth game but just not for me. I might be "older" than the normal gaming crowd, but I am just as ADD as the next FPS teenager. 
And trust me, I have purchased a few new PS3/PC games and am playing them. I log in and get my SP capped, then alternate between what I'm playing.
DUST hasn't burned me out YET, but CCP is trying it's hardest to see how long they can push players without new content. |

i'm pissed because about a month ago they ruined ambush because a bunch of pusies cried about it and now we have the lite version so they can hold hands and get their 2 kills together as a 16 man blob.. i had loads of fun with the original ambush because i wasn't a moron who spawned in with expensive gear before dropping a link. now i'm stuck with skirmish, i dont even need to go into detail about how re'tarded that's become. why couldn't they just make the original ambush another game mode instead of listening to sad clowns who never played an old school team death match before where random spawning is the norm, because they've only been gaming a total of 3 years. |
