One has A in the middle inside a building, C is across from A and there's a bridge to get to it (under this bridge there's a little canal. And B is on the side inside a building as well, one side of the entrances to the building has a CRU near it.
The other map has A in the middle in an area that's kinda built like a tic-tac-toe board. C is up the stairs from it in a little alcove, and B is on the ground that A overlooks.
I don't see either of these maps in the data base, I recognize the 2 that are already there, and the 3 pointer and 4 pointer. I didn't even know these maps had names haha. Your problem is the randomly generated structures for Letter Objectives. We currently don't have any detailed Forum for them. I have asked but I really don't know if it is even possible as the amount of random placement is unknown.
Skim Junction (probably your map) has Five Objectives. Three are in a tight industrial section with considerable variation on their placement. The letters are A,B and C. D and E are outside of the section and those structures can be quite different as well. Which doesn't really matter as the Map Itself is Skim Junction. Note that there are two versions. One is HS for High Stakes and is a little smaller than the one simply named Skim Junction.
The varying structures don't change the name of the map as the map itself does not change. Just the random placement of structures. Sometimes with Turrets that only face hills and other, rather obvious, computer based decisions.
Manus Peak has three Letter Objectives.
Line Harvest has Four Letter Objectives.
Ashland has the big industrial structure in the center with large pipes encased in frameworks providing support and Five Letter Objectives.
For those of you that are unaware that Maps have names and that we can write Feedback about them here is some information.
Yes, Maps have names. Find them here:

If you have a problem: get stuck, fall through the world, cannot get through an opening, get shot at through a wall or barrier and things of that nature report them on these pages. Try to locate the problem with the Grid on the map. Not all the detail is exactly as shown in the JPEGs in the front of each subsection. The reason is because CCP randomly generates which structure a Letter Objective is going to be in. This adds confusion but with some effort it can be overcome.
Include your Region (NA/EU/whatever), GMT (date/time) recalling GMT date and your date might be off, whether this was a Corp Battle or not (just in case CCP is tweaking maps for them) and a description of your problem. With enough detail that a third party can find the problem (like a QA person or a Map Designer). They have fixed problems in the past but it is much harder when we don't share the data.
Good Luck. |
