Do to my boredom and your cowardice i will now be team killing each one of you. If youre not going to participate and waste other peoples isk and dropsuits because you lack simple hand eye coordination, then i think ill be an ******* and make sure your loss gets much higher.

Who are you to tell people how to play? And to insult somebody who is trying out a new game and found what works for them, shows that you care too much about a game to have fun with it. That is after all the point of a game isnt it? And how does a sniper make you lose isk anyways? |

so you're mad at the snipers for doing their jobs?
so from your point of view anyone who is doing his/her job should get shouted at by you?
should a heavy be shouted at for always killing you up close or a shotgun scout for surprising you from behind and killing you?
you're angry because you didnt have your fun? what are you a kid? winning and losing is part of the game, you don't like to lose? well too bad, try playing against what the french, betamax, imperfects, seraphim and see if you will get any fun. you're just being selfish about winning. sure no one likes to lose, but the way you're venting your anger against your fellow team mates its clear that you definitely wont make a good team mate in the mature personality point of view.

Perhaps youre misinterpreting what im saying. If we are winning i am fine snipe all day. If our team is getting pounded and your just sitting back there contributing nothing besides kills, i will roll next to you or over you. Everyone else is trying, its not fair to others that you get high gain low cost because youre a chicken ****.

No, we were not misinterpreting what you were saying because you weren't being clear on the point you were trying to make. In your original comment you made it out as if anyone that snipes isn't trying to help the team. It's your fault that it was implied not some misinterpretation on our part.
I run assault and sure I hate it when my team has a bunch of people hiding up in the mountains or on roof tops (mostly because half of them are crappy shots with the SR) but if that's how the game is going I switch up to starter gear and it's no sweat off my back. It's only a public match and I still get plenty of isk & sp.
Now if you're talking about this happening in corp matches then you've got some big problems with your corp. |

Actually why don't you try a sniper yourself when games aren't going your way. Works for me,
and pub matches are really just anarchy games if you get your isk, your sp, and your kills you don't give a crap; however if you don't get those well its natural to rage quit:D
Not to mention skirmish and ambush games are really just mw2's team deathmatch and you don't cover anyone you just sacrifice them so you can get a kill typical. |

Please don't TK my sniper friend. He is my squads eyes, he relays important info to us. Also he will lock down a null cannon so the enemy has a harder time hacking it. He doesn't like giving away his position, so he avoids targets of opportunity. |

I'm more for tactical sniping...changing positions around the zones of engagement for defensive sniping as well as targets of opportunity...sitting in one to three spots all match get's boring 
Though I may head up to the hills if I'm trying to counter-snipe or holding an object without support...and then hitting the ground again if it looks like someone is going to defend the point...btw, is point defense EVER considered in pub matches that aren't full of corp squads? lol

My sniper isn't even close to my favorite character to play, but the more rage I see about sniping the more I'm drawn to my sniper. It was the same in previous builds on tanks and dropships. I love this stuff!

Your perception of snipers is completely skewed. Sure there are bad ones, but the half-way decent ones are an integral part of any team. Locking down objectives, area denial, taking out high-priority targets, counter-sniping, relaying information. All of these are important aspects of team play, and a good sniper does them well. Sure, we're not running in guns blazing, but that's not our playstyle, it by no means makes us cowardly. About hand eye coordination, you couldn't be more wrong. Try taking out a squad of zig-zagging, jumping, ducking buffoons from max distance while they move in and out of cover. It's not as easy as it seems.

It's really helpful too.
Too bad, folks are oblivious to what good snipers can do.
When FF is on. We're going to need to implement subtracting WP and SP to compensate. Get a bonus for killing an enemy. Get a penalty for killing a friendly.
We don't need nincompoops like the OP getting rewarded for raging. lol |

Shoot blues erryday. CCP is probably very hesitant to activate friendly fire, and for good reason.
