No seriously this isnt a QQ, im not even getting a challenge from Miltia gear, against my ADV suit let alone my proto suit. And no im not mad cause i died to a miltia suit (because it hasnt happened, even if i did it was because i messed up)
If you are going to spend AUR anywhere in this game is should be the STD BPO, this gives you so much better a chance at putting up a fight as well as cutting the isk cost of your fit and generate profit.
If spending AUR is something your dead set against then use miltia to build a nest egg of 10-20ish M ISK and then start rocking STD gear regularly with miltia mods if you have but get better suits. You will have better success and die less, dying less means more profit.
Also you know the best way to profit
1. Dont Die
2. Run in squads and make sure 2 people have injectors and have the discipline to get revved, a revved suit is a kept suit.
Look i want players to have fun and be successful in this game and frankly you staying in militia gear thinking all the ISK you are earining will be worth it in the end simply dont get that your income is a pittance compared to the eventual FW and EVE ISK money to be gained.
Moreover the better your performance in match and the better quality of gear you destroy increases the profits for everyone including yourself.
Really if you have been playing this game for more than 1 week you should be playing with STD by now, 2 weeks at the most. By a month in you should be able to sustain ADV suits and make relatively good profit if you create too lavish a fitting as your primary fit.
Anyway good luck out there and do consider this because frankly if you are using miltia gear still dont QQ about anything in this game being OP and more importantly you are setting yourself up for failure. |

Bring miltia against me then tell me thats true.
Not being cocky, but like you said playing against pros
But seriously if you are doing well in miltia against noobs then it stand to reason you will do better in better gear and therefore your profit margin shouldnt be affected, moreover it forces you to play smarter if a loss of suit actually means more to you.
Lastly you should be playing in your best gear because it tests the limits of your fitting and it gives you a sense of its ability and its limits which in turn gives you insight in how to tweak as well as give insight into what's really "OP" or "UP' or just what works and what doesnt which makes you smarter in the game and therefore more capable of giving better feedback to the devs.
You can only extrapolate so much, part of it comes down to experience and first hand knowledge of gear. Im just saying dont just play the game, "TEST IT". |

Look you can run whatever you want, but at the same time dont go asking for nerfs or buffs if you're only experience against something is in militia gear.
As for making the game more challenging yea i can appreciate that, I run my STD BPO suit and think of it like the gravity chamber and weight belts in dragon ball Z. Train at a tougher level than what you normally face and when you take the restraints off the game becomes that much easier.
But you also devolve and are less able to push the limits of your fits fi you dont know what those limits are.
To each is own but at the same time you really cant say something is unbalanced if you dont know how it works against the equivalent equipment.
As it is I can 1-2 shot almost everything, but thats because i have few if any adv or proto players to test against, Thats a powerful MD. Granted its only 2 com dmg mods and 4 is overkill but how can i accurately asses the validity of my claim that MDs are fine in their current form if everything i touch turns to jelly in an instant?
But thats my main point, is its our job to test and not just horde stuff, we do a diservice to the game if we arent testing all our equipment and finding the imbalances in the game at the highest gear ans Skill point levels. Thats really what im getting at.
Also better gear has an immediate psychological impact on your play to be cautious and patient with regards to playing in a squad and getting revived. Moreover get out of the mentality of death=loss of suit,, respawning=loss of suit.
Lastly playing with better gear increases the payout incredibly for everyone. How many of the closed tester here remember the 1M ISK payouts? just saying it isnt as a big an isk sink as people think. Also a 50K suit if lost 4 times should net you 100K profit you place 3-4th or above. So if players are regularly near the top as they say then it isnt a problem. And you will have better result and generally gain more SP as a result. It pretty much a win-win-win situation.
But hey what do i know, i had 50M ISK and now i have 20M ISK and that 30M was completely spent in Scrims and CB not Pubs. |

You really must of made this guy QQ.
I don't know i guess, im trying to recall if i even mention that i use MD, cause if he remembers me from in-game awesome!
I think me and the rest of the Neg-Feedback massholes are on a mission to force players out of militia gear.
Its OHK kill and more effective than a shotgun. Put on an solid STD suit more likely ADV suit and we go back to being more of a support weapon than primary slayer.
That btw is the major point of this whole thread. players who complain about nerf this buff that need to STFU unless they are using good gear because balance cannot and should not be made around the worst fitting options and the lowest common denominator.
Anyway heres to me and my fellow MD's making "masshole" a common dust term 1 butthurt kitten at a time |

Hey if you can pull it off, still go positive and SECURE A VICTORY for your team then thats good. But if you're goal is only to ISK farm and it doesnt do those things thats fine too since I AFK farm its hypocritical for me to tell you do something to help you win when i dont always do so.
But IF you're aim is to win and do well in this game in terms of W/L, K/D and still want to make a good profit start wearing better gear.
It doesnt have to be 150K ISK like my suits can go(thats not even full protobear) but a 20-50K ISK suit can go a long way.
The only reason i can see not to do this is if you are solo but in a squad cmon if 2 ppl are carrying injectors there's really no excuse you cant lose money if you suit never gets destroyed(revives are a mercs best friend).
IDK maybe its just the logi in me but it shocks me to see such timidness by "killers" and a support guy isnt afraid to risk his isk. |

Fine by me, still not going to go PC, defeats CCP's whole model. PC elitists are an even smaller minority, sorry but consoles are just more popular even if they aren't better.
And a free game will always attract new players and since it doesnt cost anything to download again, players will eventually leave and then come back, because there isnt any financial cost for them to do so. If the game continues on our backs until then and it becomes more robust and shinier and better than people will want to come back and play because console players never want to be left out of what could be the next big thing.
As for noob crushing, thats every MP game in existence. Noobs get crushed the ones are going to stick out for the long haul are the types that refuse to quit and continue to march forward and grind until they can turn around and crush the next lot.
Those are the players i want. Im not interested in the whiny little child that complains that the game is too hard or its "out of balance."
If they need that much hand holding they aren't going to survive in this game anyway. You're false assumption is that there aren't enough "intelligent" console gamers and that they all reside PC side.
Plenty of console players want complexity and dynamic gameplay, and those are the most hardcore and competitive and our most leet players in console land.
These are also the players that record and/or stream content which creates a viral buzz that will always continue to peek interest as they will like they always have in every game they play attract a large internet following. Social media begets social media and when people start to see footage of the game at later builds and see the development in a timeline in terms of those videos and then see how the game is played(mastered) at the highest levels it creates an emotion of I want to do that and heck i could do that.
You're short sightedness amuses me as much as the litany of EVE players trying to kill this game in local chat. I really do hope they give me the chance to travel to planets and blow EVE ships from the ground if for no other reason than to make you naysayers pray to the gods that more EVE players purchase consoles.
