If completely dedicated, throw no bones to another weapon...make a Ninja corp or find one...there are a ton of corps |

well scout suite yea sure, heavy lol no shun all around. to be fair if you are good you will find a corp for yourself. most nova knives are not that good so good luck with it all. |

Honestly, a lot of corps will shun you.
There are dedicated nova knife players in corps, though. Some corps don't care if you can aim at all... but a lot of the more competitive corps are unlikely to be interested in the role that a nova knifer plays in a battle and are looking for cookie-cutter slayers. |

If you want my opinion on the matter I'd say being shunned by player-run corps is expected. But I look at it differently.
If all of your SP is on the nova knife and the scout suit with mobility skills, then that means you have to learn how to make the most out of the minimal militia gear you have. This will force you to fight with a handicap the whole way until you maxed out your knifing skills. But in the end you will gain a better appreciation of what you have because the experience you gain from fighting handicapped with militia weapons along with being prudent and careful as a ninja knifer will enable you to be a better fighter.
There are times where I went 12/5 with a militia SMG because my experience as a ninja knifer has taught me how to carefully pick my targets. |

Send us an app at the Shadow Cavalry Mercenaries Im sure we can find a use for the Knife weilding maniacs , ( we take pride in our insain tactics ) and i cant think of any thing more in sain than jumping out of my myron Knives in hand in the middle of a gun fight. But seriously send us an app , we can see the potential for nova Knives when they are skilled and used appropruately, |

Go for it. Though you're going to need plenty of other skills to compliment the knives. Focus on speed, stealth, sensors, and maybe drop uplinks. (Maybe hacking, too.) Also, I'd recommend adding lasers or snipers to the mix, just so you can have something to do when stuck far away from the action.
Get in close, hack their stuff, stab anyone who tries to undo your damage. Be the ninja. |

sad part: hacking mods, mobility mods, and sensor dampeners are all low slots. though Hacking lv5 reduces time by 25%, and dropsuit command+profile dampening lv5 reduce profile by 50% |

I got an alt I'm running science experiments with to uncover the truth on how they deal damage and what skills/modules effect them. First I ran experiments with scanning. With moderate/good scanning skill and scanning equipment on my scout suit type 1, I about break even with my KDR in rounds using my knives.
I think in corp battles, with few enemies on the ground, a super mobile scout suit with good skills in scanning, stealth, and knives could be a real asset. Run with remote explosives, or av nades and bubbles (to kill unsuspecting tanks), and you could terrorize. If I were your commander, I'd have you move around their flanks at all times, keeping tabs on troop movements and relay that information to me or your squad leader. When you have a clear approach, move in to knife. Kill snipers. Drop uplinks in strategic positions. Yes, I think I could easily put you to good use. |
