Please, for the love of god, FIX HEAVIES. They should not be accurate at 300m with 2500rpm and 600 rounds with 900 health. A few of them, yes, but machine guns are not automatic sniper rifles. Im ok with the fire rate and all that, but accuracy should be WAY WORSE than it is. A guy with an AR should stand a chance to take out a guy with a HMG at distance. |

If no fix is needed for heavies then the other weapons need to do four times the amount of damage they currently do with six times more accuracy. I know this is a game, but it shouldnt be so lop sided. Real world, a 240B or a gatling gun put out a crazy spread because they are AUTOMATIC and hard to control the spread without bursts. A rifle, such as an M16, SCAR, FAL, etc are accurate because they are slower, lighter, easier to control. Should be the same in the game. The only people I know who don't think Heavies need fixed are HEAVIES. |

as a logi who can roflstomp a HMG heavy with an assault smg half the time, i feel that heavies are rather well balanced. that team coordination is to blame.
i have never picked up an HMG before i lead with grenades i let my teamates know when one is coming i think you should say HMG's instead of heavies, it throws people off and makes them think of the suits i think you should wait for the next build i think people should spend more time on more important issues

Check the numbers out in the above post. In the future a Search for "weapon ranges" would have shown you that post.
What AR are you using? What HMG were you up against?
Effective range for AR is 35m with max at 78m. Effective range for HMG is 34m with max at 59m. Effective range for Assault HMG is 50m with max at max 80m.
Now there are significant modifiers for both. Light Weapon Sharpshooter lvl 5 +25% for ARs LWSS Proficiency lvl 5 +15%
Heavy Weapon Sharpshooter and Proficiency are the same values.
Let's assume you were running a standard AR and you are working near 50m (nearly safe). HMG 34 + 25% = 42.5m HMG +40% = 47.6m Assault HMG +0% = 50m
Guess what? You're dead. |
