It would be really awesome if there was some sort of tab function for dropsuit/vehicle fittings. Being able to group sets of dropsuits in one tab and being able to switch between tabs making it easier for people to switch between different roles. Like grouping all your logistic dropsuits into a player made tab, or grouping all of your uplink or slayer fits into a tab. The way I have it thought out is you choose your favorite tab, kinda like you choose your favorite dropsuit, and you press R2 or L2 to switch between your tabs, much like the battle finder system. I see this becoming necessary in the future because people will be specing into different roles, I already have 20+ dropsuit fittings for different roles, and being able to further organize them would be a huge boon once people are into the 10+ million skill point range, having multiple weapon/dropsuit specializations.
How I've learned to deal with the current system is using numbers to group my dropsuits together, for example I have some of my suits grouped as follows
1 Logi GC (Glass Cannon) AR
1 Logi GC AR/AV
1 Logi AR/uplink
1 Logi GC Swarm/AV
2 Heavy Forge/AV
2 Heavy Forge
2 Heavy HMG
2 Heavy HGM/AV
The list goes on, but being able to, in deployment, and at a supply depot, quickly switch roles without having to scroll through 50+ dropsuit fittings trying to find the right one.
I'd like some constructive criticism, and *crosses fingers* a response from a developer, to see if this is something already in the works or if they like and will look into making something like this.
As a footnote, EVE may not need this feature but dust does. This is fast paced action and you need to adapt quickly. |

HOPEFULLY they will finally implement this for us for the fittings and the contacts listings. Keep putting the bug in their ear. |

At least make is so we can move the fitting up or down in our listing. Every new suit I create gets shoved to the bottom of the list unless its my favorite. Then I find myself ticking up and down the listing to find my situational fitting only to have the situation become less than ideal. |
